I know Anderson hasn't played much but he has speed and X factor. Seems that Simpkin is out of favour despite dominating at BHH.

I think it would be too big an ask for Howe to play finals, has had very limited minutes at AFL level.

Think Hartung will play next week, instead of Suckling. His pace will be handy, especially if we're playing the dogs. And Sicily for Gunner if injury keeps him out.

I was angry last night sitting at subi watching that crap whilst listening to the ferals celebrating their 'premiership'. But I think that loss will hurt the boys and they will be better next week - rest up with a 7 day break. And I really can't see us playing that badly against Freo in Perth (who we match up well on).

That is true. But it looks like another trip to Perth. That is tough. The only positive is if the Hawks can get over Freo they will get the extra days break which will help. But it is going to be hard from here. Two Perth trips with no rest is worst case scenario and that is what we will get.

This would be against Adelaide as they have two big forwards and some dangerous smalls.

No idea why Duryea hasn't started as of recent. His intercept marking was solely missed in the first half whereas WCE intercepted everything.
Anderson the sub as he has done it before in finals and relatively well. A bit of nip and contested ball would be good in late 3rd and 4th quarter.

We got our fair share of clearances so no great advantage from Nic Nat.

Oh please, people are entitled to have an opinion and vent if they choose to do so. Not a single person doesn't revel in the ride we've had over the last 8 or so years but that doesn't mean we all have to sing kumbaya and go gently into the night wearing daisy chains when they lose. Did anybody not expect this to happen? When he's finished he'll be arguably the best centre square ruckman that's played. I'm actually suprised we had more centre clearances and stoppage clearances, it was what happened after the ball left the clearance where we fell apart.

Turned it off at 3qtr time. Shocking performance. Think the dream is over tbh. So many out of form including clarko. Frawley is not a forward. Dont care what he did against Brisbane and Carlton. When did roughy turn into a complete *******. Hill is soft. Lewis has been anonymous this year. Shiels and Langford looked way out of their depth. Smith and Breust may as well have not played. Thought lake and Rioli were our best with Mitchell. Umpires were abysmal but it wasn't the reason we lost.

Despite NicNat winning the taps we won actually won the clearances, I bet it's pretty unusual for the hawks to loose so comprehensively when we win the clearances.
