Yeah it depended on the dogs winning every game, Freo losing to the swans and then beating us in the prelim.Well they are wrong, they can only meet in the premlim.

Hawks won't let the newbies come thru, will just keep bashing the same old side week in week out.its not working1. The Frawley-Lake switch should have happened far earlier. Lake was always going to be too slow for Kennedy.
2. In hindsight Smith shouldn't have played. Was not 100%. Hartung would feel miffed.
3. Our tackling was piss weak.
4. Umpiring wasn't even. Plenty of HTB paid against us and then at the next contest it's only a ball up for a WCE player doing the same thing. Umpiring didn't cost us the game but it could've been closer and less frustrating to watch.
5. Goal kicking, disposal efficiency and general composure cost us. So much for the best kicking side with the most finals experience.
6. We need an injection of youth and exuberance. West Coast had this and played like a team playing for it all. Our guys looked like they were thinking "eh there's always next year!". And with that attitude there won't be. Get Hartung, Spangher and Simpkin in there. They can play a role and will appreciate it.

No need for doom and gloom, we beat the Crows and it's back on track. If we don't do 3peat, it's not the end of the world. If we do, the glory will be ours forever.
Out: Gunston In: Shoey
Out: Smith. In: Hartung
I would love to see Litherland come in for Suckling (to play on Betts). If not I'll be happy with Howe- rookie or not.
I really hope Clarko is not stubborn with his selections. We need to take risks, especially if we face Eagles again.
If we beat the Crows (IF), we will grind out a win against Fremantle. On grand final day anything is possible.
We say this every year, but a 2015 premiership will be the greatest of all. I still believe.
Not necessary flog

Was subbed out at half time against Carlton.Just looking at the stats...It's a joke that Burgoyne has played every game this season. He'll be 33 next month and deserved to be rested for one or two fixtures.
His class is so important come finals time, I hope he's not burnt out. Playing every game two years running seems strange to me.
Possibly, but that decision smacked of arrogance to me. Why play anyone for a half? Was subbed out at half time against Carlton.
Maybe he didn't need a rest.

So a few minutes later Smith hurts his knee but because we've made our sub we're down a rotation a week out from a qf final in perth. Yep, great decision that one.To give the other guy a half ?
not sure what all the hysteria is about. Before Friday's game we had to win 3 games for the premiership. (1 away and 2 home) Guess what, we still have to win 3 games (1 away and 2 home.) and it's ours.
Pretty much this. If we lost in a narrow game, then it'd be a different story. But we got dismantled. The manner we got beaten is why
the morning after...look at it this way, if we were going to lose a final, this was the one to lose....
cant help but think if we make it to the gf, we are still a massive chance...even the wce coaches box were still scared at 3/4 time up by 40+ points....
ps the wce fans who are already celebrating the premiership...need to get a grip, prelims are tough to win....and its been a while since they been to one

Feels very much how we dismantled Sydney in the 2014 grand final and they dismissed it as an aberration.

Pathetic. No heart, all our fault for not putting any pressure on our so called best 18.
I don't think that's giving West Coast enough credit. I think they were the standout performers of the weekend and will be tough to beat this series.Agree. It was categorically the weakest performance of the round. Every other team that pulled on the boots wanted it more than our boys. Actually ashamed of that effort.
Please, can we stop this shit! Yea, just like rough had injuries in 2012 GF which didn't stop him from missing three shots at goal. Roughead has a bruised ego and that's about it. He got SMASHED by blokes three inches shorter ffs.Did Roughie do an injury after he took his speccie early on? Looked to me like he was having trouble kicking after that (maybe after taking a pain killer) and being a confidence player (like all these new age 'raised in a politically correct world' affirmative action kiddies tend to be), his night was gone after that.
