Who do you think will win and why? All opinions appreciated. I think the Hawks are a big chance with Rehn and Barker both back in but I was dissapointed O;Farrell was dropped. Rob's Hawthorn Hawks

The Tigers should win, but I would've been more confident had Duncan Kellaway and Rory Hilton come back in.. but they haven't..
Nevertheless the Tigers should get over the line!

Will be interesting to see what effect the weather will have on both teams and also the crowd! It's forecast to be raining, cold and windy. Not a good forecast!

I think this will be a close game, assuming Hawthorn play an attacking game. If they play like they have in the past month it will be a case of "how far Richmond?".

Hawthorn have more stars the the Tigers, but Richmond has a more even spread of good players. Hawthorn will need Holland, Hay, Chick and Crawford to dominate if they are to win.

Hawthorn may have injury concerns, but Richmond would dearly love to have Duncan Kellaway and Rory Hilton in as well. The fact the Richmond has not included either (both were rated as 50-50 propositions) suggests that Richmond expects to have enough grunt in the midfield to win.

If Rehn is fit then Hawthorn will have the edge in the ruck, otherwise all three Richmond options would be confident against O'Farrell and/or Thompson.

Contrary to some suggestions Richmond would fancy themselves in the wet in the middle, especially if Chick is even slightly underdone. King, Broderick, Campbell and Daffy (yes! even Daffy!) would enjoy the wet conditions. Richmond won most games last year in wet conditions.

Mentally, the Hawks would usually be perceived to have the edge but it's hard to see what affect last week's belting at the hands of the Lions has done to their mental toughness.

Who will win? Toss a coin - unless it buckets down, in which case I would pick the Tigers by around 20 points.

mmm....I think we will struggle just because it would be a huge effort to bounce back from last week. Plus some of the Richmond guys (Bowden in particular) are in sensational form.

However, I think Rehn back is good (BOF is just too slow I'm sorry), but we need Barks and Crawf to play to be any realistic chance.

Watch up for 1st gamer Timmy Hazell and the returing Adrian NUTTER Cox - should be exciting if nothing else.

I would say it is actually the Tigers who rely on a few 'stars' and hawks are the more 'even' team.

Formwise you would pick richmond but who knows ?

Bear in mind that Richmond beat Hawthorn in 1996 and 2000 but hawks pipped them to 8th spot ... history could repeat

Hawthorn should win.
It will be a close game, But Richmond are due for a lose, as Hawthorn are due for a win.
If Hawthorn dont win tomorrow they wont make the finals.
Well they dont deserve to make it anyway.
Imagine a team going 8-0 and missing out on the finals!

Richmond should win, which is dangerous for Richmond. But the Hawks have lost 4 out of 5 and the game that they won they were lucky to win. On form the Tigers should win.
