Well it wasn't broken on the weekend maybe it will be this week

Will Hawthorn Continue on and beat Essendon to take them to 9 straight wins or will they break there streak????

Also will freo who got within 16 points of Geelong after being 10 goals down at half time (or what ever the margin was) continue there losing streak when the take on the Swans at the SCG or will they get the 4 points

Western Australia V's the Rest of Australia

14 games played
1 win
13 losses

if this keeps up going by the current trend at the end of the season west cost will win 2 more games Freo none
with a grand total between them ( not counting when they play each other.

40 games
2 wins
38 losses

It probably wont happen but its just another boring stat I thought I would post,
Don;t know why I bother really

no Vanders, he isnt including the games westcoast and fremantle play eachother.
hes right 40 games played, not 44.
they play 22 each, but they play eachother twice so u hve to take off two games from each team.

seeing how there are 22 rounds in a season!! :D

The two WA teams play eachother twice, hence a subtraction of 4 games.

As for the streaks continuing, I think Essendon will manage to beat Hawthorn, but I hope it is a good close game.
Sydney will flog the Sh itfish at the SCG.

I think the Hawthorn Vs Essendon game will be interesting (obviously!), but not for the reasons that everyone else seems to.

Sure it's between 1st and 2nd place, but at the rate both teams are going, it looks like it will be a battle between the Magoos!
Both teams have had some pretty big names fall to injury over the last couple of weeks, so the real test will be one of DEPTH.

This is a bit disappointing (probably for both teams), as the fans & clubs wanted to see how well they were travelling.
As an Essendon supporter, I believe Hawthorn have been the benchmark in 2001 (so far), and wanted to see how we would go up against them.
Many Hawk (and other) fans wanted a test against the supposed '2000 benchmark' (i'm not blowing our own trumpet by the way - this was a tag given to us for our phenomenal season in 2000).

Either way, it should be a great game, but probably not quite 'Ultimate Test' many were hyping it up to be.

May the best magoos win! (LOL)

Seeing a full strength Essendon V Hawks... now that would have been REALLY interesting!!!! Next time.... (GF?!)
