Hawthorn Blueprint 2015: How Hawks’ remarkable rebuild has them in line for three successive flags

THE Hawks have the best decision-makers and leadership in the competition, both on and off the field.

This 10-year rebuilding of a once great club back to the current powerhouse has been remarkable and although obvious to all still very much understated.

"The Hawks average nine individual goal kickers per game, clearly the AFL’s most, including having 10 plus goalkickers on nine occasions this year; by comparison Sydney only managed it three times. This is why Lance Franklin is no longer at Hawthorn."

I feel so much better now knowing we actually got rid of Buddy and not the other way around.

I love how much coverage in print a 6 gamer seems to be getting though!! Hun and AFL site seem to think along the lines of Hawk supporters with " the rising of the JED!" Love it.

This is classic David King.

In 2011 he wrote off the cats to then be embarrassed and since then he has sucked up to them and their supporters. The piece that Cryptor was stating is another example of him still sucking up to them.

Now he looks to be doing the same with Hawthorn after we absolutely humiliated him. Who else but David King would predict a margin differential of around -120 from the actual result.

The guy is a clown and tries to comes across as an expert.

I don't like Horse Longmire but he nails it on that Foxtel ad promoting David King. He laughs and mentions it's the biggest lie or something when referencing people calling David King an expert/intelligent man.

The man has no idea. He is rivaling Tony Shaw in the "numpty, but let's pretend we're really smart and we know our football" stakes.

As an aside, talking about Geelong's accurate kicking, how funny is it that Collingwood has the most inaccurate disposers of the footy, and most of the players they traded in don't address this issue!

I didn't mind Kingy but I need a re-think after his GF tip of SYDNEY by 50+
Meh. He made a call and got it wrong. He wasn't alone. People take this shit far too seriously.

I've always found King a good analyser of the game. It doesn't mean much to me but I've always thought he was pretty easy on hawthorn too.

The vitriol he has faced has been over the top imo

Still you have to admit it's weird that he thought we were average enough to lose by 60 points now he's calling us a superteam.

Kingy picked Sydney to win because as a kid he was a Swans supporter as his Grandad played some games for Sth Melbourne
He wasn't at all surprised that Hawthorn won, just surprised at the ease of the victory
A lot of you take what so-called "experts" have to say far too seriously, especially as a lot of it is said to cause discussion amongst the general public!
Do you know that a lot of the various articles in newspapers are club driven?
