Too noisy
Too windy ( even with all the hair gel the players use, their hair still got messed up).
We have to play at other grounds instead of just Waverley.
Umpires are against us, bring back Schwab to the coaching panel.
The clash of jumpers confused us, every team has to change their strips.

I couldn't be more proud of them today, they really gutsed it out, i found plenty of positives out of the game.

.......btw it's not fair cos the air conditioner swung around and 4 times and Geelong kicked with the wind every quarter.

Gees sandie, give 'em a chance. They don't live on the computer you know. I'm sure they'll be here. The Hawks fans on bigfooty, are generally okay (except for Dunstall,19, but even the other Hawk fans hate him anyway)

Hawthorn have got nothing to ashamed about. They only went down narrowly, and had a first gamer show a lot of promise and kick three goals (Billy whatsisname).

They'd want to start winning again, though... and soon.

That was crap....complete crap....the day we start getting a holding the ball decision our way, we'll win the flag!

Every radio station, Channel 7 commentators and the AFL report all criticised the umpires, so I don't think I'm out of place in saying we received a very VERY raw deal today.

And for F uck's sake, learn how to bounce the ball, or throw it up you white maggots!!!

I thought we did pretty well, considering how depleted our team was. Billy Nicholas has arrived!!!!!! And Brett Johnson, Thommo, BOF and Smith were good.

Call me a bad loser if you like, but the umpiring was an utter disgrace today.

Jubster, you're gaggin' about the umpires. For the tenth time in eleven games we came out clearly on the wrong side, in number of free kicks, positions they were paid, fifty metre penalties (play on Ronnie, no, hang on, have a fifty. Kerrist!), and non-decisions.

That said, we never did hit the front (play on Johnno, play on!) and you could just see the Hand-baggers waiting for us to do it to them again, so nice of them to make us feel at home by putting on some brown shorts. Had our chance, but lacked a presence (Chick, Holland, Crawford, Barker) to grab the game and take it home.

BILLY! Out 15, in 1.

Still going alright though, and we'll be a better team with a half forward line in the next month or so.

Yeah i thought when Johnno chose to go back and take a set-shot that it could be a turning point, i knew he'd miss. He had to much time to think about how important the kick was, if he plays on he goals it...oh well, isn't hindsight a sh!thouse thing!

Let me see, Oh that is right, your constant whinging about Colonial & no waverley, the umpiring & changing of jumpers. You don't have to worry about changing your colours, because no other team would want a jumper that makes people want to puke.

I must say, i prefer games like todays one (the closeness of it) even if u do lose, because its not dull or anything.

As for the umpires, i dont think they payed a holding the ball free kick to either side after the first one that Thommo got, like 5 seconds in.

Im not one to bag the umpires, but todays umpires were a disgrace. They barely paid any free's all day, and there were some very obvious ones, that should have gone the way of both teams.

Back to the country for them next week....or the week after....or both!

Bad luck Hawks, lets just hope you can kick some Roo Bum in 2 weeks time. And good luck to Box Hill down in Cat land tomorrow!

Get out of it! i dont recall me once complaining about jumpers or the ground. As for the umpires, they deserver to be bagged sometimes especially after performances like todays
