Based on what has happened in history.

I know you think hawthorn are special and can turn water into wine and vickery into a passable AFL player, but the chances of JOM being as good as he could have been pre injury are very low.

Be an amazing achievement if he does do and I will be the first to sing his praises if it happens. He will be akin to GAJ dominating in a shitty side for a while.

Can you see the future?

JOM turning around from here hardly will be an abnormality.

Name one superstar of the game who has missed this much footy and come back just as good post injury. It's about how much Neele Daniher missed and Essendon people will tell you how good he was pre injury

If Hawthorn do end up finishing 2nd bottom, they will have given up the same amount of draft points that were spent in getting Danger AND Beams.

Would you rather have Danger AND Beams on your list, or JOM?

Have Hawks really spent 88 pages arguing they don't care about draft picks and that they are delighted about O'Meara and he will be just fine?

Truth is Hawks list management in the last couple of years has been as bad as it was good in the mid 2000s.
Probably odds on favourite for the spoon next year.
Agree with that second paragraph. Could very well finish last in 2018.

Not many come back from a ruptured patella tendon though. Chris Knights on SEN this morning said he was never the same after he did his.
You have a good point.

I have faith OMeara will and thats as good as anyone elses opinon here tbh.

Its funny how many people coming running when someone says JOM will come good.

'10 year investment' ? What are you on about?
Surely JOM hasn't been signed for that long.
Just repeating what jaeger and clarko and the club have been saying.

"Its not about this year its about the next 10."
"we see him as a 10 year player for us"

What the hell are you on about???

Not sure ive ever said that. I dont understand what your trying to say.
I have seen the (brown and gold) light.

JOM was the chosen one, he is the plan, and the plan is good...because Hawthorn won three flags in a row.

Trade value (pick swaps) don't matter at Hawthorn...because Hawthorn won three flags in a row.

JOMs knee will come good and he will be the best player in the league because Burgoyne overcame a knee injury...and Hawthorn won three flags in a row.

Anybody who thinks Hawthorn made some poor moves in the 2016 off-season needs to remember that Hawthorn won three flags in a row.
