So indigenous people die in custody at a rate four to five times higher than their percentage of the population in general and that means things are okay?

JFC.

I didn’t comment on that. I just stated a fact that indigenous prisoners are no more likely to die in custody than non indigenous prisoners. Infact stats unequivocally show they are less likely to die in custody.

Just stating a fact. Sorry if that angers you.

Its obvious you have nothing new or useful to say you just keep going in circles.

They're telling the truth but not telling the truth.

You think it happened but not as reported, the article was bad journalism because you don't like it.

You're also now claiming victim status again.

Yawn

This whole thread keeps going in circles because some people are frozen in the moment after they finished reading Jackson's article and can't cope with anyone who isn't, or who is looking at the many other developments since it dropped.

The second to last line of your post, in the context of what we're discussing, is genuinely hilarious, albeit unintentionally.

It's a beautiful illustration of the whole issue we're trying to discuss.

It is funny how nobody ever engages with the Yoo-Rook Commission stuff.

Noting it was Jack Latimore who wrote this, oh that he'd got the Egan report first. Though I reckon Egan didn't go to him because he knew Latimore wouldn't just lap it all up.

There have been few tangible developments since the article dropped. Just some diversionary garbage questioning Jackson's credibility because of a 120character tweet. (Or whatever the limit is these days)
