Yes, that's right, they've been going ape-droppings starting threads about Franklin being fat and slow, about Clarkson's inadequate coaching skills, and all manner of cutting edge analysis of the unbeaten ladder leaders who were so masterfully and magnificently exposed by Dean Bailey and the Melbourne brains trust, being kept to a measly 19 point win at the weekend, our 7th lowest win of the season.
It's not possible to argue the point against such withering intellect, so what other recourse is there?

Except a new thread is started on the same subject by multiple Hawk posters, maybe time to merge them into one, only fair if new threads about the Hawks are going to be moderated.

It's the whole 'attack Hawthorn' thing though, mantis. This week it's Melbourne serving it to us, previously we've had the MCB war on Hawthorn, North, Geelong, Essendon. You all want some. You love it.
I ask you, which of the following three statements do you think is the most factual, the closest to the truth?
a) Melbourne are a piss-poor excuse for a football club, they have no money, no home, and little support. They are prime candidates for a merge, a relocation, or just voting 'no' and folding into oblivion.
b) Lance Franklin is overweight, slow and a dud.
c) Alistair Clarkson - who took over after Hawthorn finished 15th on the ladder and who now sits unbeaten on top of the ladder just three and a bit seasons later - is not a very tactically astute coach.

And l'm pretty sure they all went off to the pub together and talked excitedly about the terrific efforts of the swans to date, the rise of the young lions or other topics that none of us ever seem to get to because it is buddy is BEST EVA or hawkins is a washed up hack at 19 or any of the other repetitive shit that goes on here.

Personally l have sympathy for both of these guys in this situation. Gave their all and season over. Both racked up more than enough gutsy/tough guy credits to be respected. Riewoldt at the Gabba on the other hand...

Then you would know the exxact same thing happened with the Cats last year, and I would say 75% of the million threads were started by Hawks supporters having a crack at Geelong.
