I think Murphy is a slightly below-average pressure forward at AFL level. Several people on this board seem to believe he's the worst player in the AFL, worst player in the club's history, etc. I disagree with that but don't really mind people holding that view. I also don't know how many times I can repeat my basic point: for his many flaws, I think he'll produce better output as the 22nd player tonight than the mooted alternatives. If we disagree on that, then we've hit a fundamental (but hopefully cordial) impasse.

It'll entirely be depend on their workrate tackle/pressure wise. When they've lost lately it's generally been on the back of their lack of defensive intensity and that's one thing you need to beat us.

So if they don't show up there and Nicks lets us play aggressive enough we should be able to get enough ball into our forwards. If it gets into an arm wrestle though it just feels like the Hawks can take it from there, especially if it's played in their forward half given their forwards could score 6-8 goals for head high frees

Immortals like D Jars, McLeod, Hart, Smart, Ricciuto, Rehn... ok, we can squeeze a few dud flavours in around them.

Not sure we've got enough top end talent at the moment to offset Murphy at the bottom.

Not that I dislike the idea of Rachele in the midfield, but his role up forward has been one of our biggest winners this year. Why would we change that when Pedlar is right there?

We have a moron coach who is not getting the most out of our squad because he prioritises experience over ability.
