When Ellis makes way for Rioli to come into the side, I think they got depth.

Delivery into the forward line was horrible for most of the night. Happy that we stuck in and fought it out. Don't get to play the MCG that often and it showed in the first quarter. Set shots we should have nailed we missed. Probably the difference in the end. That and Buddy running amok.

Yeah no doubt they have depth. Not many teams that finish on top of the ladder don't have depth. But yeah, I'd love another crack at them; we outplayed them for 3 quarters. No way we'll start like that again.

A real gutsy effort - but shot in the first quarter / did well after that.
I would really like to see Adam Selwood replaced by Stephenson, but I know it won't happen. McGinnity has his detractors, but you can't fault his effort - he is getting there. Good to see Kennedy come back on - looks like he is ok. IMO Nik Nat was troubled by tight hamstrings - he never really ran hard during the game - still did well though.
Lost our double chance, but feeling bullish about our finals campaign.

If I'm not mistaken Franklin kicked most of those goals when Brown was off the ground. You know Franklin, the best forward in the game? Well, Brown held him pretty well when he was on him. If that's not showing something to justify his position on an AFL list then I don't what is.

Brown's not a good player. That doesn't take into account the isolation of tonight's performance. He's simply no good, much like his brother.

I really hope the powers that be take notice of the gap and not go 'well we'll improve next year'.. we won't. We've gone backwards and drifting further away from the top 2 sides, no point making finals if we can't fire a shot.
Sick of the 'conservative' and arrogant attitude to recruitment, we were lucky in 06 as we had some good midfielders, now it's not as easy to accumulate them.
Tonight highlights how poor we are in big games away from Subi.

Totally agree.Time for Adam selwood to be replaced.
