I'm a little embarrassed we keep winning, I can't even gloat anymore. I have found myself pumping up other teams at work so others feel like they have a chance.

If Hawks win another I might not have any mates left.

People have said they are over footy... The tears, so sweet.

This. I have a friend who is a Swans fan who sent me a fairly long message after the GF about how great the Hawks were... etc. Then the response from my Perth connections have been a, "oh well, we were probably never going to beat the hawks anyway" or whatever. Geelong supporters have meekly collapsed, and a lot of Brisbane supporters even regard our threepeat as marginally superior to theirs. Basically we have no rival anymore #hawthornproblems.

I hate the fact that, in 2 out of the last 3 flags, we took the foot off the gas and didn't score any goals for the last 10-15 minutes of the game. Kinda takes some of pleasure out of watching the replays over and over. I always find myself fast forwarding through the last part of the last quarter to the presentations...

Well Davo23, I disagree. Another flag will make 4 consecutive flags, and in my view, that's an improvement on 3.

I don't specifically remember by how many points we won the last 4 premierships. All I know is that it was more than enough. By around 30 in 2008, a few goals in 2013, 60 something in 2014, 40 odd in 2015...

I know what you mean but i couldnt give a shit. I sit back and remember the feeling sitting at the ground knowing a grand final was in the bank and could not be taken from us. The final margin does not matter...that is for the stats book...it is all about that feeling...and the tingles that we will get for the rest of our lives when we recall it. Doesnt get any better.
