I don't think any Hawks supporter can question the new breed of Hawks that the club has brought in. Hodgey, Ozzy, Browny, Sammy and Jordan Lewis have all got serious grunt. Buddy has had more go in him than almost all the other first year players in the AFL combined. 
The Hawks showed last season that they will no longer be intimidated by the Bummers in particular, and showed enough to bring hope to us all. Yes we are young, yes we may not have the highest profile coach, but I like the toughness that the new coaching staff have already instilled in the team.
Bring on 2006 and beyond!!

but yea.......these generic players are the same old athletic tall players that have no personality and individuality. They are all da same. we need the pluggers, the dippers, THE G TRAINS and maybe sum more of the carl diterich's!!

agreed they maybe thge enforcers at hawthorn but obviously its not bringing the results.
I watch the games from were I live in adelaide and It makes me so mad when they look as if they're not interested. I can't put my finger on exactly what it is but they seem off by a fair way. when they come to play the crows and port they look defeated before they get on the ground????? they seem uninterested if they start to lose and that isa bad sign. I can only remeber them winning once in the 8 years I have lived in adelaide......

Too bad - because they could really use a few more 181cm 73kg forwards with that non-generic, fly-like-a cow, run-like-a-wounded-sheep athletic ability!
Thats a stupid thing to say. Its quite obvious the boys are trying there best. Give us time. Rome wasnt built in a day and Im sure that a Hawthorn premiership will take longer then a day as wellDaveT said:
