Lecras would still get a game ahead of him, and he isn't that flash these days either.

Averages less possessions, marks, goals and for all the talk of his pressure, less tackles than Mark Lecras over the past 4 seasons. And yet supposedly Lecras should retire and be replaced with him.

His output this year was almost identical to Josh Hill who's 2 years younger. WC traded pick 49 for Josh Hill 5 years ago, so by that logic, pick 84 or 102 should be the offer to Freo, or they can keep him/send him somewhere else.

Didn't seem to be fit and was constantly carrying niggles.

Either that or 26 goals from 20 games is a piss poor return.

Take your pick, either way a second rounder for someone who is soon to be 30 and cooked at AFL level is overs.

That's the thing he doesn't. It's like people just remember Ballantyne from a couple of years ago. Lecras kicked almost 40 goals this year and averaged more disposals and tackles. Ballas is cooked not sure why people dont see that.
