Great show so far. Woody does act way too much with his mouth though. I'm intrigued about what will occur in future seasons.

I'm a big Woody fan, but it's true, he does do that and it's not a character trait, more a personal one.

He must have decided that very early on. Like in the Cheers days. He does it a bit in interviews too. I think it's more a personal tick than an acting nuance.

But don't really great actors adobt nuances of the character they're playing? Not just the same for everthing they play.

An example would be Jake Gyllenhaal (not saying he's necessarily great), but in Prisoners his character had an eye twich, i highly doubt he'll do that exactly the same way for another roll.

I love him for those reasons. Very few in the industry can get his viewers so exasperated and indignant. And no, I don't agree with you. Nowhere in my post did I call him 'clueless', nor did any of my other post(s) gave such an implication.
