It kinda looked like a person carrying a sack to me.

It did also look like that, but I doubt he'd need the sack all the way out there. It's not like anyone will see anything.

EDIT: I just remembered, rug burns on her knees and back, it's probably just a sack.

Just been re-watching the opening episode.

Anyone thought of the very opening scene of the series? A figure dragging another through the dark, then a large fire. Whilst this could simply be the/a killer dragging Dora Lange to the spot then burning the cane fields around it, perhaps it was indeed foreshadowing the finale?
i recently rewatched the first scene as well. i immediately thought it was rust carrying hart, but then i realised rust has his long hair in 2012. the silhouette looked more like rust's 95-02 hair. still could be him though.

It will be interesting to see the reaction to the finale, I think a lot of people (particularly on the net) will be disappointed because they have literally ignored the plot and come up with their own.

Realistically there is only time for:

- Interrogation of the cop
- Entering carcosa/ritual area/weird as **** crime scene
- Showdown with lawnmower man

I am hoping somewhere in-between all that we get a few answers i.e. is the father in law a cult member? Why are they displaying the bodies then covering it up? But it seems unlikely.

When Rust talks to comatose girl, she says "The man with the scars was the worst. The Giant, he made me watch what he did to Billy." So reckon this can be interpreted as "The Giant made me watch what scar face did to Billy" & Rust missed that at the time. The Giant & Scar Face are 2 different people.

Yellow King (The Giant) is/was Billy Lee Tuttle(deceased) - look at the size of him next to Rust when Rust talks to him at the ministry. & probably Sam Tuttle passed the mantle down to Billy boy. Whichever way, the Yellow King responsible for the deaths Rust & Martin investigated back in the day is dead.

When Rust & Martin talk to Sam Tuttle's ex housekeeper & she tells them that scar face was Sam's grandson, a Childress ("His daddy did that to him, poor boy"). "From Mr Sam's other family?" Rust asks, & then the old girl clams up.

Spaghetti Monster (Scar Face) - obviously the Lawnmower Man who doesn't mind chasing young girls around the country side with his ear muffs on when the opportunity arises & doing horrid things to them during the sicko ceremonies.

Questions might be who stepped into Billy Lee's 'King' role once he carked it? & does Sherriff Geraci know who it is? I have my doubts it's the Lawnmower Man, he appears more likely to be the one who facilitates the whole show by abducting kids.

I can see this wrapping up fairly neatly once Geraci has spilled his guts & our boys go & quietly pickoff the nutjobs.

Soon soon.

Mmmmmmm I was wondering back in ep 1, where Clarke Peters who plays the preacher is questioned and he talks about his aunty making those wood things, if his aunty was the old lady?

Would be a crazy easter egg. Doubt it is relevant though.

Also one of the first guys they interview is super creepy. Made me wonder if it was deliberate, or just for to kind add to the weirdness of it all.

Potential spoiler day on BF.

Oh yes, let's take the above post as the line in the sand. Please do not post anything that could remotely be considered a spoiler.

Use the tags. Be prudent. This is the final episode of a great tv series and I for one want to enjoy it without any hints or the like.

Is it wrong that I just want this day to end so I can watch this in peace with an ice cold beer and my women by my side?
