HaHa, yes. Franklin brings bums on seats (even though I was never comfortable with the length of contract) but a coach? Could be a very lol norf thing to do. Wonder what Horse is on now with us.

Rumours are that he has massive gambling issues. Now if true, the leadership group would be onto him if he is missing sessions etc. We just don't know. We do know Aliir missed a session after being injured in that pre season.
Dawson was also always injured & he just couldn't run out a game at the required capacity, so you get better at that in the Neafl. We can't know all the reasons why things happen but rest assured, when they start banging the door down consistently over a decent period in the Neafl, as soon as a spot opens up, they get given a go. Then they need to grab it. Dawson & COR have now done that.

We aren’t holding the ball and waited nor mucking up the game as much though

And we are moving play closer to the centre

That comes with confidence in your team mates and your own form.

All we have done differently over the last 5 weeks is have to have players individually and the team collectively in better form with a couple of tweaks to essentially go back to the style we were good at before before the introduction of 6/6/6.

Brad Scott before he finished up said that most coaches set-up this year to try and move the ball quicker in anticipation of the new rules, but have largely gone back to previous plans as they were just turning the ball over too much and their forward 50 entries were awful due to the spread of players.

From a limited number of NEAFL games in 2017, Dawson came third in the comp's B&F. His form was compelling and had blown the door off the hinges. He was not "always injured"!!! Do you have the GPS data showing he "couldn't run the game out at the required capacity"?

Players like Jack, Rohan and Hanners stunk it up for two years. Mitigating circumstances for all three, but their low output contributed to poor team performance.
