It's amazing after the rehab is all finished how you're able to move big weight again. You look back at all those little exercises like "damn I was weak."

Having said that I think I'll be using booty bands for the rest of my life.

Just saw the physio and Iā€™m still not cleared to play :(

He said my ligaments are still tender. We did some tricep push downs with a rubber tube and my left was shaking like I was doing a 1RM šŸ¤£

Jk, hope it's better soon, my left elbow keeps clicking and i can't really throw properly, but i'll still play cause * the physio.

Iā€™m not too sure if I should request for scans? I still feel like I am going to be out next week as well.

My trainer who is a nurse as well is very surprised that my physio hasnā€™t sent me for anything.

Doctor for scans, physio for rehab šŸ‘ dunno why but don't think physios can order scans
 
Ligma thanks for inviting me to a great board and all.

Now that Iā€™ve given the compliments of the board I think Iā€™ve done something to my knee. Moving sideways and laterally at times can be super sore and tight in my left knee. I was stretching and it popped like a loud pop and since then has been really sore and tight.

Not great timing with my left elbow also really clicky and annoying as it makes it hard to throw, with that it feels like thereā€™s no tensions at the end and itā€™s constantly hyper extending.

Before this year Iā€™ve been basically 100% free of injuries too. Bar a dislocated right knee cap a couple years ago in cricket. And I think I did my PCL or MCL and was out for 4 months for footy in my left knee.

Any help would be great but if not itā€™s Allg!

Pretend you did it in the last three days when you go to your doc and request an MRI
But that requires effort! I have physio on Monday I could book in and have it checked out if itā€™s still bothering me then. Donā€™t play this week just running and skills tomorrow. And weā€™ve already missed training with Tuesdays being a gym day due to the rain cutting the oval.

Iā€™ve got two weeks of no games but Iā€™ll probably still train unless it really bothers me. Itā€™s like specific movements mainly quick step laterally.

Was more meaning that it could be something small or they could tell me if i need to plus where to go, Iā€™m in a small city till I move to Melb soon where I can get to bigger places easier to get them done. Itā€™s basically a waiting list here.
 
One thing to keep in mind with knees are that if there's serious damage there you can genuinely make it a lot worse.
Yeah I have no idea. One of my coaches had a knee surgery in WA with a specialist earlier this year so he would know more than me. Iā€™ll probably give him a ring and ask.

Idk even know how I did it šŸ˜­ it was just stretching and I did one on my knees with bum to heel and reaching out and it popped.
