Haven't you got a board of your own to gloat on? :(

 I'm not gloating just highlighting the stupidity of blaming Neil Craig. Hawthorn were coming hard that whole second half and if they kicked straight would of put the game away in the fourth.

Also apologies I thought this was a thread on the main board, I've clicked in the wrong forum so I didn't come in to this on purpose.

Macca
Goodwin

Where they out there...

Burton, delist him...the 10% of his good work is outweighed by 90% of crap.

No Forward Structure, it is just kick and hope

Thompson and Knights tried their guts out..

The better team won on the day...The one that thought it was a contest, not the one that thought it would just unfold.

Neil Craig could have actually changed Massie before goal 5 yes 5 was kicked on him. He was towled up by Buddy.

The coach is responsible for making changes in a game.....

Bad luck crows. I thought you had it with Torney's goal. You guys are one of my favourite teams outside the Eagles.

3 pt loss is tough to take - I know how you feel to some degree, but at least we get another chance next week. Best of luck next year.

If you were being blunt Roo shouldn't have played this week.
To be honest, I can't comment on whether he should have played or not, I don't get all the information filtered through to me. It was blatantly obvious to everybody that Franklin was killing us before half time. You would think that you would change your matchups, but oh no, no, not at Adelaide. We have faith until it kills us. If it kills us, it makes us stronger, its a ****ing learning experience for next season. FFS another chance goes begging. I'm sick of it.

Lets not take any notice that Hawthorn had about 7 straight set shots they missed and were completely running over the top of Adelaide, if they had kicked straight it would of been over earlier.

Froggy, dont worry about the crows, the ferals will not get past next week based on the game you played last night, if you can only beat the WCE by 3 points with the injuries they had doesnt bode well for you coming up against the other sides.

Must give credit to Hawthorn, as there pressure was good but I have never seen us get so smashed in clearances for the majority of the game and still almost win. We did everything we could to lose that game and we almost stole it. Am shattered

I think its cricket season :(

I am shattered again.

FFS I just want to win more then one final a year.

Neil has once again shown he does not have the goods when it comes to the finals, this year has been a failure, except for a few rising talents.

Weve already got past next week, we are in a prelim in a fortnight.

My favourite bit was when the ball came flying in to the forward line in the last quarter into a pack of Gill, Mcgregor and either Welsh or Roo and they all slammed together, the ball dropped and a handful of hawthorn players scooped it up and ran away.

Probably the most frustrated game I've seen in a long time, from a crows Supporters perspective, Its like they had all the bad habits of the crows this year bundled together into one game.

Early run and lead - check

Extend lead then suddenly collapse and lose lead - check

handpass to players standing still with 3 opposition player running at them from behind causing a turnover - check

Kicking to 3 forwards who spoil each over - check

Brett Burton does nothing - check

Too many free kicks given away through undisciplined play - check

Select players who are not fit to play - check

Not make any changes during the game to stop big fowards - check

Keeping Andrew Mcleod away from the ball - Check.

We will see about Port, last nights game was an intense arm wrestle the whole night, much like the second half of todays with extreme pressure, nothing looks pretty. I just hope we don't get umpire Ray Chamberlain after todays performance in the Crows game today.

Massie got 7 kicked on him but it's hard for anyone to stop a guy banging 3 or 4 from 55 out on tight angles, that's why Franklin's so good. Bock would of been too slow and McGregor was kicking goals up forward. Maybe Torney could of been moved on to him, I'm not sure, the one thing I think did cost you was having Hudson out of the ruck for so long in the last which allowed Hawthorn to get the ball out of the centre, he HAD to be in there in the last 15 minutes.

Great game. Commisserations Crows fans. I thought Massie was ok on a tough opponent. Well done Ricciuto, a fantastic career.

See u next year Crows.

Not sure about the Choke

We were 8th and they were 5th...we scrapped into teh finals...

But the win was there if we palyed half as good as we did in past three games....

I wouldnt say too much about the Power....They will take out the flag....They have shown they have the nous to win the close games and that is finals footy....

I will be going for the hawks tho, always good to be elimianted by the champions...like our Soccer team in World Cup against Italy

Yes and if we'd kicked goals instead of points it would have been over at qtr time. Idiot.
