Not sure how many people are against it, but I reckon a lot of people find it hard to envisage the circumstances which would make Heater's return a likelihood. But two days after Richmond's win, I suppose I can say that stranger things have happened...

I would love a 'Shaw' at the club, somewhere, anywhere, in some capacity, because I love them.

But sadly it wont be happening any time soon. And with no babies on the way, it will be a long wait.

I don't know. From what I saw of Shaw this year he was well and truly cooked. Not sure if there were injury niggles, or just that Williams and Wilson took over his spot. But he just looked off the pace this year.

Positive spin is that Heater has only played 89 games for GWS, so if he has sons that can play in the future they're all ours!

There is talk of him being let go from GWS due to the fact that he doesn't apply pressure and won't commit to a lock down role so on that basis he will not get traded to Collingwood

This business about Ablett going back to Geelong has got me thinking about our Heater, and a possible return to Collingwood. I believe his contract at GWS ends at the end of next season. He will be 33 in 2019. He loves the Pies and might just consider a return if the coach has changed. Would you have him back?
