What's the context for his comments?
Couldn't find anything on googleNo real idea and it’s not worth our time speculating on it! I’m simply pointing out that Heater speaking his mind is not worthy of the backlash he’s received thus far.

Yep and they should have won in 2011
3 timesExcept Geelong were better than them.
Pendles said on his podcast the other day that they went into that finals series tired. Seems like some poor man management by us.3 times

Is there a link to this interview? If he hasn't had a good think about the reasons for his departure and his contribution to it he's a turkey.
The raft of big swinging dicks who left the pies because they didn't want to be told by Bucks what to do had runaway egos. Thomas pointing at the coaches box stands out as an ultimate flog act. Glad to see them all put out in their clapped out clubs.
No.
We get absolutely nothing out of it.
We don't need him and to bring him in is backwards thinking.
We actually are putting together a nice pair of half backs- and we have Murray developing too.
How is it poor? We rested players in the last round and got smashed.. Playing injured players cost us.Pendles said on his podcast the other day that they went into that finals series tired. Seems like some poor man management by us.

Refresh my memory on this one please?

He had to go it was either him or Buckley simple as that,Some may not like Buckley but for the most part the players play for him even when we were losing there was always effort,I really only recall that Richmond match where we run up the flag.https://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/...d/news-story/a104962885f71c36f258b3493a85e922
This article gives a good idea of the club and Shaw's feelings towards each other in 2013.
"Obviously the conversations I’ve had with `Bucks’ in the (heat of the) moment on the ground is similar to what I said about `Maxy’ - it’s all for the benefit of the team. Sometimes I get worked up if things aren’t going well and I show it because I’m passionate about the club and passionate about winning.
"It’s something I’ve tried to work on controlling for the past 10 years but it hasn’t worked at all. So I don’t think it’s going to be changing any time soon."
IMO Buckley would answer his call though and therein lies the difference. One (Shaw) is a flog and the other (Buckley) class.
So you know Heater and Bucks Personally?
You seriously need to learn to accurately quote when you stoop to trying to tarnish a player based on your own interpretation of something you know nothing about..That's what I took from it, he's a donkey but an honest one.
Also said he promised to buy the Giants women's team (which he volunteers as an assistant coach for) all dinner if they beat the Pies because he hates Collingwood.
