I'd say we front end some contracts so we have money available to target some players next year. Assuming we don't have further players in mind to trade in this year.

Taylor Adams could have been handy, but with Caddy, GHS, Cowan, Schroeder, Bundy we do have enough promise ready and able right now.

Front end some contracts and get this list healthy and we will be there abouts again.

He didn't say that. He said renegotiate their salaries to being forward some now and pay less next year which allows us to build a war chest. Sounds like a great plan to me.

I think as you say the BrassBand spooked him a bit and then increased the pressure on him to stay from the Port boys. If Pickerscum was his manager he'd be a Geelong boy now
