Heard this morning that Phil Lobb has left Elmore after having a bit of a blue with the coaching staff. I thought he and Grant were mates?

Anyways, heard he is gorrrrnnne.

Spoke with Phil last night and I wouldn't believe everything you read on Central Vic Footy. More of this will come out in time im sure. I wont be the one to break what happened but word will get around no doubt

Is he going to Koondrook/Barham??

FWIW I hadn't read the CVF article, had just heard from some people at Elmore, but..

Lobb is likely to put in for a clearance to play with former Eaglehawk star, and 2008 Bendigo Football League Michelsen medalist, Shannon Milward. Milward now plays with Koondrook-Barham in the Central Murray Football League.

Thought that Barham/Koondrook already had problems with points sytem they use there, had to axe one of the pollocks because of this problem so if this is correct Lobb may not end up there either.Have you got any info on this ROOTA.

Yep your right Doona, great day for Huntly 1's by a point and the 2's by a goal.Hay Doona what about the game of the round Elmore vs Lochy,Locky came away from Elmore winning by 80 points, the lose of lobb should not have made that much of a difference you would have thought then again is there something else going on at Elmore:confused:??

It is interesting as Adam Pollock was forced out of Barham due to a point/cash flow issue from what I have been told. When I heard about Lobb heading there I had the very same thought as you. Obviously Lobb doesnt attract as many points as Adam Pollock did so they have been able to squeeze him in. He played on Saturday apparently

With the half way mark just around the corner, anyone want to take a crack at a team of the year up to now?

I just thought it might be a bit of fun and keep us talking about what is good in the HDFL.

coach of the year so far would be jason stevens white hills. Biggest disappointment of the year elmore

Yeah Jason appears to be travelling okay, Elmore appears to be a little disappointing but can anyone guess what Fanto's highlight of the year is so far? (and for those that dont know me it happened in the last week) :D

Good side. Glad to see you have Douglas in the ruck, been a great player over a number of years. I have not seen a game this year and only a few games over the last few but thought Tom Longford could get a jumper, same with Wes and Webby would add a bit more grunt. Also no LBU players?

Just my thoughts but as I said I have not seen a game this year and only go from the paper on who played well.
