My mail has it that Sam the Hawk is also headed that way

Had a disappointing season with injuries this year at YCW, another x Wyche premiership player playing across half forward/back/wing/full forward/back.... even seen him play in the ruck one day, is a running jumping freak. get him fit and he adds that real x factor.

Trying to source praccy games for Kilmore FNC and was wondering if the HDFL draw for 2013 has come yet? If so can someone please whack up a link or even a starting date

Concentrating on getting some of the young blokes in the two's some senior time I believe Roota and a back to basics positional game plan for the start of the season. The new bloke Novak looks to be going okay. One or two more quality backmen and I reckon they'll be there abouts.
 
Let's get the HDFL thread up and about with a bit of discussion

* Firstly Phantom why would the Hills concentrate on giving 2nds boys game time when they haven't won a flag for 20 odd years? Or is more a case they haven't been able to secure much quality so it becomes a case of turning to that?

Lets have a stab at a ladder to get things rolling

Not sure I can see L/G climbing that much though it is great to see them having a crack

Grant Weeks is the best country footballer and I'm not sure these blokes are close to his class. They are obviously very very good players and I wouldn't not em back if they wanted to come to my club. It takes more than that to succeed in the HDFL. Don't get me wrong I think they will make the finals but personally don't think they will finish second

bit of a stretch placing them in "the best footballers in country vic" for mine and knowing both leagues they have to step up to HDFL. Yeah they have played higher leagues and better footy but so have alot of the players at other teams. There are no Ardmona's or Longwoods in HDFL. If anything LG was. Will be playing on much better opposition each week for a start so will be the hunted every week from first game.
