Does anybody know what sort of numbers North had at training Wednesday night?
Talking to assistant coach of North Bendigo, as I am good mates with him, he says they had about 20. Not a bad night, nothing over the top. They just ease into it. New faces, Wigfield - Just came for a look. Would be good pick up for North. David Baxter also came for a look he did not train. Michael Ducket and nobody but can be good. Then Webbys friends as quoted earlier on in the forum, Loring - who is doing alot of training and looking fit and wants to prove alot this year. North are on the right track, not saying they are going to be premiers, but would not under estimate the dogs.

It also mentioned Brian "SUPA CAOCH" Walsh is coaching Campbells Creek.
Walsh said in the article that he didnt think he would coach next year but he still had the passion to coach.
I vaguely remember reading after his dearture from W.Hills mid-season he'd lost his passion to coach, isnt amazing how ten or thifteen big ones can soon re-spark the passion!

I may be mistaken here but haven't these blokes been around the club for a long period of time and hasn't Huntly been ordinary for a long period of time, what happened to the new blood mentioned earlier in this forum at some crisis meeting they held earlier in the year, can't help but think there will be more of the same thing until someone or a group gets in there and changes the way things are run.

Before you start slagging me off Daniel, be very careful of your facts, i may know more than you think. Wes bell handing his pay back - the only way he would have done that was coz his old man made him... He played plenty of shocking games and i don't think he EVER deserved $400 a game that year!! And manly was far more influential all year than Bell, end of story.

Mate you started slagging me. I recall you calling me a Idiot.. End of story?? Am I not entitled to my own opinion??? I never said he was worth $400 a game what I said was he was far more consistent than people make out.. Yes he didn't live up to his name but he didn't go around slagging his own players like a big kicking forward either Bell was far more team oriented!!!! Tell me then who is worth the money Huntly paid out in 06/07 cos no one springs to mind!!!!
4 flags in 5 years is hard to toss regardless of the impact, don't think Bell has that in his CV, It would be fair to say who the hell has been worth any money in the last 6 or 7 years at Huntly, the only one I have seen from the dugout twice a year is Clohesy, he at least has a go and shows a bit of feeling out on the ground even if he does slag off at his teammates.

upandcomer.

There is a new president, vice-president, treasurer, secretary and assistant treas/sec. Also a new coach.

Therefore a whole new executive. There was also 12-15 people put their hand up for the committee at the AGM, with quite a few new people. So that is 20 people extremely keen on lifting the HFNC to greater heights, and whole new stream of ideas I am sure will come forward.

The past committee did a great job, the netballers are successful, the juniors are successful and now we are all looking forward into getting the senior football sides back up the ladder. It'll be a tough job, but one we look forward to as a club.

Have signed a ruckman from hay got a job as a panel beater apparently can play.. Hard at it can play a key position as well...
Big Rick bit harsh on peewee, in a good side would be very handy...
Bell was consistent without being outstanding in 06. Would have him before Manley..
The murrabit boys were the two best players in the 07 GF. Handy players for what we've herd. The Huntly crew have seen them a couple of times and obviously want their services.. You can't get quality for nothing
CAN SOMEONE TELL ME PLEASE THE TWO MURRABIT BOYS NAMES THAT HUNTLY ARE CHASING.
