Good little $10k collect for the LBU club on the Footy show tonight :thumbsu:

How good was Newth's mullett!

Just browsing through the sides in the addy and noticed no Brad or Dave McConnell where in the team, anyone from W.Hills on here can confirm if their injured or got a prior engagement.
Brad missing from ff is a big loss.

Yeah I think we're all a bit surprised, im sure they will come to their senses soon and il be getting up a bit earlier on saturdays.:D

If you had listened to Freddo this week bloodhound, you would know that you need to be there earlier anyway. Pay more attention to the footy and less on the new physio!

Do Mounts play tomorrow or do they have a bye?

How's Mark Bangit travelling - awesome player!!!

Mounts have the bye tomorrow but apart from 2 goals his first game wasn't anything to write home about. Anyway maybe as the season wears on he will fit the description you have given him.

Bangit started the game really well with his skils looking very sharp, hurt a shoulder fairly early and played the majority of the game very sore. Did jag a couple of goals. He will be a good player for us

Who was it that broke your jaw Roota that these blokes always seem to mention? More so on the Central Murray thread than here.

Just checked out our new you beaut footy info website and there's an interesting snippet about Heathcote's leading goalkicker from round one leaving the club. Now no bull$hit from you blokes just tell us what the hell is going on?

I was surprised when the Euroa coach told me tonight that they have picked up a fella from Heathcote that kicked 7 in the seniors last week. Asked him why he was leaving as I thought Heathcote was one of the fancies and he said that the player had a falling out at Heathcote and B Groome had brought him to Euroa.

What are you talking about?
Have you read the post?
Do you understand what "unacceptable manner" means?

Well for starters I was backing you up , and we had many of the same things , perhaps where we get our wires crossed is on our idea's of an "acceptable manner" and like you said that is up to the individual . If everyone acted the same, how boring ! but I maintain upon entry you can act anyway you would like just as in any public place , It just seems when it comes to clubs such as yours and mine one bad egg can reflect badly on everyone and no one likes to be a ________ by association

It was his middle head.:D His old man had a difference of opinion with a member of the club and has decided that his 19 yo son isn't allowed to play with us anymore. Simple as that. We'll move on, that's life.
So the dad is signed to the club not the son, now i now its up to you guys how you run your club but it appears to me you should be pi--ing the dad off and telling the son no clearance, or are they two people you guys are happy to see go.

Colbo v Broady: Will like the big oen spaces with heaps of runners, Broady will dominate the ruck but i think they'll find it hard to stop colbos avenues to goal. Colbo 46 points
LBU v North: Will be better for the run last week and even with Watson in, I believe LBU will have the options up forward. Newth to kick 8. LBU 30 points
Hills v Huntly:Looked good last week, tall side that arnt the best running team so the WH should suit them. CAnt see WH kicking many goals if McConnells are not playing. too much resting on Barty. Huntly 7 points
Elmore v Heathcote: Game of the round, heathcote have to much firepower and Elmore just are not playing at 100%. Heathcote 33 points

Congrats must goto Hayden "H-Bomb" Collins in his first game of senior footy. a 17 rover who won the B and F last year and runner up the year before. This kid will be a gun in 4-5 years

The bloke even admitted it was his fault! Totally agree with what you are saying and the powers to be tried their best to persuade Brent to stay but he wouldn't stay if his old man wouldn't come and watch. Nesko, yes that is his brother, not sure if it was a coincidence or planned to happen.

Copped a pretty bloody good Colbo side yesty who were far too good and cleaner with the ball in the 2nd half. Felt we won the ruck's, but our ability to use the ball going forward hurt, Colbo cashing in on 7 direct turnovers to goal and really hurt us on the rebound and didn't allow us the one on one contests inside our fwd 50m we required.

For Broady I thought Mitch Collier was superb on debut, presented well all day, tackled and gave his all - with Eddie Neilson, Lukey Ezard, young rovers Simmo and Freo battled all day, as did Webb but we just couldn't cash in on the good work of Wearney and Gilly in the ruck.

The kids were great in that even with the game lost they still attacked every contest until the final siren - at a glance we had 13 blokes 21 and under with 2 blokes over 24. With players like Billy Neilson, Nick Redenbach, Glenn Rowbotham, Sean Duggan, Lindsay Black, Wayne Myers and Jason Walsh all missing I will guarantee Roo fans a better effort at home next week
