For me I thought Linton Jacobs was good all day, Sam Hill kicked 5, Nick Knight (never wastes it), Butch Hill, Brent Millar and Luke Chadderton were good as was Weppner up forward

so you have forgotten about round 1 where he elbowed an 18 year old kid in the head, didn't face the tribunal for 2 weeks and got a 2-3 match ban
Yeah I actually forgot he did get a suspension last year so i stand corrected there. Cant remember the incident so I wont comment but im not sure why his age is relevant. 18 is legal drinking age and driving age isnt it?

Well he did say missing. Noticed Doona2 some posts telling what a good bloke Finchy is. Unfortunate he to has decided to attack your list. You will have more broadford players playing in the B&D than for Broadford. Maybe they though the B in B&D stands for Broadford.
can anybody fill in a few things for me, is the B & D in its last season, or is it that Bonnie Doon are in there's, is Aaron Bolton playing at Longwood, what other Broadford players are at Longwood.

The talk is that the VCFL have made the decission that the B&D finishes up this year and the clubs in the B&D go into the O&K. Only talk though I have not heard anything in black and white.
Aaron Bolton is playing for Longwood.
My count makes it five players from Broadford to Bonnie Doon, C.Dunne, T.Dunne, A.Bray, T.Webster and D Fletcher. And two to Longwood, W.McNally and S.Duggan (in progress).
Not a good year for Broadford in player transfers with 10 new players coming in and 21 players going out. Seems Doona2's method of coaching may only be good in idea??
CD what are you saying, sh-t mate i dont give a rats if he is good at it or not, but he is loyal he is passionate and he does not cost much, i think the clubs problems lay not with the coach.

Leave the big fella alone. If the blokes don't want to play there for any sort of reason I don't know whether or not Doona is to blame. Don't forget he is a premiership coach so his methods couldn't be too bad.- Banned

What Im saying is Dooa2's way of developing the kids, not overspending on players and looking after the welfare of the club for the future seems to be a good idea. But in reality trying to build a premiership team this way wont work because players are going to leave for coin and the junior players will leave for the first club that piss's in their pocket. Im not saying Doona2 is doing it wrong its just not the way other clubs seem to be heading. Most clubs see success comes with spending coin and chasing every player they can get their hands on. Dont read more than what I type boy's.
Not sure you need to be at every game of every week to have an idea on whats going on. Just need to know a few people who know a few people!!!
Also helps not to live in a dream world too!!

doona colbo are bit of an unknown with a new list this year do you think they have the game plan and the big guns to match it with heathcote elmore and the mighty mountain men. once again it looks like bluey has an open check book at elmore!

Don't stress lads, I'm confident in my methods and how I go about my football, seems the only method Im not sufficient in is raising enough money to compete with neighbouring clubs as every bloke who has gone to the BDFL have done so for a lot more money than we have to offer . . . . . . end of story.
I do however know that if we fail to make finals I'm a dead duck, and if me getting Ar$eholed come season's end means the 5-6 senior standard blokes would return then I aint that selfish and would jump into another BFNC role perhaps and give a coach they'd respect and play for a go. But as long as Ive got the gig be it 2,3,4 years or longer I will do my very best with whoever wants to be onbaord
F#*k me it's only our first loss, and I guarantee we will be a lot better than Saturday's performance as the season rolls on - so as I say to me lads, perservere and be patient!!!

Still have not answered the question. At least tell us what league you a associated with! Seems like bigfooty is your life. You comment on every post and dont seem to actually know who people are. I really think you should stick to one league and get to know it well instead of putting in your two bob in each league.

throw a ruckman (Sirrett) in there, Doak, Linc McRae, Guy Rathjen and hopefully for Colbo's sake Brown returns and there's still some handy blokes not playing yet. Knight is playing a similar role Locky, Riordan is a handy defender, Pacher looks ok and there's another one who's name forgets me who didn't play either.

In the last week he has posted on the Picola,Benella,Heathcote,GV,Ovens & King,Kyabram......Fair dinkum!
Is there anything morally wrong in that? I'm the first to admit if there were a few extra bob available I'd use it, but unfortunately my working environment at present dictates our fortunes. I guess the dream world I live in was created by the great people of the Yea Football Club who won the 2005 flag in a bloody good competition by spending around 20k, maybe that's the reason for my inefficiencies Cellar Dwellar????
