ok cool, what brand do you have and how much was it?? If I was to get something I'd want to make sure another user has had no problem with it.

Ethan: Saved shaun but because i didn't warn the police, they thought he was the killer and shot him outside of warehouse.
Shelby: went undetected and and went on living
Also Nathaniel and Lauren died and also that old guy(? that kids father who shelby harrases) when your shelby and you can either kill him or save him, he died too.

I got mine almost 2 years ago now, so the prices will have gone down considerably (but for reference I got my 250GB one for about $99).

I got myself a Seagate (which is the same brand that Sony use), it was either that or a Western Digital brand. Either one would be great.

I installed a 500GB Western Digital HDD about a year ago and havnt had any problems. Simple to install yourself so I recommend getting one. Picked it up for just over $100 from MSY
 
Had a crack at this last week. Looks quite interesting but haven't played it for long enough for shit to get properly real yet :thumbsu:

My favourite bit so far is when that hot woman wants to have a shower. There are some tasteful cuts of her getting changed in the bathroom so that you never quite get to see her boobs or fanny. Then you take control of her and walk her into the shower. But the shot is stationery and postioned so that you get a continuous view of her walking towards the camera with her t***ies on display. Then she turns the water on and I'm pretty sure we cut to a deleted scene from Meatballs where its just a closeup of some woman's wet knockers being massaged with soap. It is quite a short shower but her norks are really hygenic afterwards

I hope there is a scene later where that fat private detective meets one of his sources in a strip club and they sit there drinking whiskey and talking, acting like it is no big deal that there is a naked splayed woman gyrating on their table.

Ooh or a bit where some hot woman is getting banged in a parking lot, then you get a shot of a security camera, then a shot of the origami killer watching the security footage on a moniter in a darkened room. The implication being that he is going to knick off and murder her children but you suspect he might rub out a sneaky one to the footage before he gets down to business

Madison dead jumping out a window of Scott's burning apartment, Norman dead in the scrapyard crusher, Ethan arrested at the motel, Shelby lives, Nathaniel + Lauren + shopkeeper all dead as well... which of course meant Shaun died without being located.

I reckon the worst ending is if you keep all characters alive until the end and still don't save Shaun,
since Ethan commits suicide in one of various ways and Norman ODs
... dunno what the worst ending for Madison would be, though.
 
Anyone played this through and seen Jack Reacher? Massive ripoff of Heavy Rain's dramatic musical score in the climax scene of Reacher, at an empty industrial site, with you guessed it... heavy rain coming down! Haha

thank god i was only ever going to download jack reacher as i'm not interested enough to watch it at the cinemas

what a fantastic title!...so many games owned and so little time but is it worth another play through..? i think so!

JB HI-FI have a 2 for $40 deal, or you can buy if for something like $23 on it's own.
 
Still my favourite game by a long, long way. Platinumed it ages ago but have replayed it so many times since then. Up to my 14th full playthrough now, not including the half-playthroughs to get trophies. Truly fantastic piece of game writing; really looking forward to Beyond: Two Souls next year.

It's not for everyone, that's for sure. Enjoyment from games, for me, comes from how well written and designed a game is, and this game was perfectly written in my opinion. Never has a game made me so emotionally invested in its characters, nor has a game drawn me to continue playing it this much. As I said though, it's not for everyone.
