Was actually an ok standard for an nsl game.

I hope we sh*t on Glowry next week (away) from a great hieght. After looking at this weeks results, it's entirely possible.

Sunday at 7.30's not a good time IMO - prefer the 6pm starts that they had last year. And it was freezing out on the open side of the ground. (BTW Peter Desira in his match report reckoned there were 7000 there).

Very good game; Marconi played well, they've got a strong team and didn't have Brosque and Maloney playing. But South were just a little bit better, we're definite title chances. And good to see Boutsi back in form again (I think his goal, that was a Boutsi special, he meant to do that - not a mis-timed cross as the Herald-Sun reported it).

Considering the results we've had it is. We did have the highest crowd this year, about 8k or so, until Adelaide Uniteds 15k effort.

That said, a 7:30 game on a sunday night is a pain in the arse. It was freezing as well, so it wasn't to bad. I think they had it at a later time due to the races on all day. They also gave alot of freebies out to irish tourists according to their website, but I didn't see many spud lickers there.

Peter DISASTER is a moron.. 7000 people.. ppfffftt... 4500 MAX! 4000 was my guess... and still not a good enough crowd for South, especially if we are serious about getting one of the spots in next seasons revamped competition....

good game by the boys though.. 1st half was a little sluggish.. 2nd half was very good.. should have put a few more past them in the end.. classy performance by M.Panopoulos - will only get better with more game time.. also though Tunbridge played well... was disappointed though we didn't get to see Sarkies play... kid has star potential...

this weeks game up in Perth is going to be tuff though.. there's no way they will play the same football they did against Parra... I hate to say it, but Í think we're gonna cop it big time this weekend... although, we do have the best defensive record in the league so far (Ade Utd don't count yet...), so we should hopefully put up a good fight...

GO SOUTH!!!
