On another note Bluey, I must say that the boards have improved remarkably over the last few days. For that you and the other "newly appointed" moderators deserve a big thumbs up.

I have stepped back in after a couple of days away due to family tragedy and I feel like I'm dreaming. I have no knowledge of what has occurred.

I take it Dan has filled the front page with his own topics or topics with him as the subject? I too can understand Bluey's frustration as he is trying to entice people on to BigFooty by encouraging and displaying a variety of topics by a variety of different personalities. Dan's prank would not be doing BigFooty much good.

However, if this is a footy site, then we should have a tribunal hearing on a forum and appropriate suspensions handed out. Only repeat offenses or something akin to headbutting an umpire should result in a total ban. Announce the report and subsequent suspension and perhaps have a countdown as to when posters are due back from their suspensions. It takes an ugly side of the boards and turns it into a tongue in cheek part of football. The deterrent is still there as the poster can not post for a while. To the prospective new posters, it looks organised and humourous.

We'll see you back here again Dan after your little 'ego modifying' treatment is complete.

btw I am not scared of Bluey. He is providing a service that I am grateful for. If in providing that service, there are some rules that should be followed, then out of respect for the provider, I try to comply. BigFooty needs posters here but it also needs to provide an attractive environment for the next generation of posters. It is a hell of a balancing act by the looks of it.

Same Old's, he flooded the board with past posts adding comments to bring them back like "forgot about this one etc." What he did was totally wrong in the interests of other people and from what I've seen he hasn't apoligized for brining them back. So far as i care, he can be suspended for 2/3 weeks, he deserves it.
