Hello, I am from Portugal and discovered a few years ago this sport, through a cable channel. I didn't know the game, but when i see i really enjoy the game. Fortunately Eurosport (European Sports Channel) now broadcasts the AFL.
The 1st game i saw, was a Essendon vs St Kilda, i ended up sympathizing with Essendon. But above all I like the game.

Thanks Jobecantkicklol. Portugal is a beautifull country, Lagos, Lisbon and Porto are really incredible places, but you have not been to Sintra, Braga, Óbidos (medieval village), Aveiro (Portuguese Venice), Douro Valley, Guimarães, Gerês, Tavira or Nazaré? Are treasures!

Braga is a city that i really like, i go there almost every week, my girlfriend is from there :). I support Essendon because that was the first team that i see, along with St Kilda. I know that Essendon is a club hated by the most part of the other AFL teams fans, even more, after the alleged case of doping. I don't hate any team, i just like the game.
You live in Australia, do you like living there? In Portugal with economic crisis many people are immigrating to there. Australia is a country that fascinate me.

Yes i live in Australia. I came to Australia when i was only 7 months old but my family is all back in Portugal. I am trying to get one of my Primos to move to Australia but we are not sure of the best way to bring him here. I was in Portugal when Jesus was coaching Braga and got to watch the Braga game against Benfica and the game against Porto at the Dragao. Love watching soccer. I go to all the Bulldog games here and just wish i could go to the Braga games aswell but the 30hr flight makes it hard lol. So the laptop it is.

You're very lucky to be able to watch all the matches of your team.
The Western Bulldogs are not champions for many years. This year is also not going well so far.
This year the Braga had no well in the League, but managed to win the League Cup against my FC Porto, the first title for Braga.

Second title buddy. We won the Portuguese cup in 66 lol. Braga have been starved of success much like my beloved Bulldogs.
