UPDATE
We have hit our target... and blasted out the other side.
We needed to raise about $3750 for two LA to Brisbane air fares.
Rough total raised so far: $8,000!
With more in the mail and clearing through the banks!
The offers of help have slowed to a trickle, but they are still coming in. We have probably raised enough for now guys so please check out the appeals for Queensland flood victims and Victorian bushfire victims.
All we need now is to get an upgrade from a friendly airline so Arly can travel in relative comfort... do you own an airline or know somebody who does? Contact me!
Help out a mate
Mobbenfuhrer (aka Kevin Court) a good bloke, long time BigFooty mod, Footypedia.com curator and Fitzroy supporting legend has found himself and his wife in dire straits.
They went to America to get specialist treatment for Kevin's wife Arly, who has an extremely painful, debilitating disease.
After spending all of their savings on medical bills they have found there is no cure, just a long road ahead of 24 hour care and occasional experiments with treatments hoping to find one that works for a good period of time.
Now they have no money and are being evicted from their flat. It looks possible that Arly will simply die if she cannot get back to Australia.
How you can help
Kevin and Arly are currently in America but need to return to Australia, and for this, right now, they need gifts and loans of $US2500 for their air fare.
We need your help, whether it be a loan or a gift.

I know this comes at a time when we're all giving money to help the bushfire victims, but please dig deep and give what you can to help out a mate.

Kevin and Arly's wedding jewelery is valued at about $USD7,000. He is happy to give that to the person who can pay for the tickets, either as collateral for the loan or in return for an outright gift.
