Just bloody typical. Fitzroy supporters out rattling the tins again. Nothing's changed since 1986.

To those querying Kev's credentials, I'd say this: I'd trust him with my life. He doesn't have a devious bone in his body.

sent 20 through a bank transfer, let us know if it doesn't get through, description was "Mobbenfuhrer"

If anyone has a few bob to spare then please help out. That is the Aussie way, to help out a mate. :thumbsu:

I think its a bit better than that, most people wouldn't know Mobenfuhrer from a bar of soap, let alone call him a mate.

I think its great to see people rally around the story, not the person.

not that I am saying there is anything wrong with him as a person of course :D

ok its 9.30 am here and umm ... I may have this wrong but it IS possible that I have it correct, and that is that approximately $2400 MORE has come in overnight via bank transfers !!!!

As I said, I'm bleary-eyes and may be double-counting, but OMG!

Oh lord you people are amazing. I dunno what else to say at this point, but will get up and running shortly to resume proceedings. At the moment I'm kind of teary.

Kev

Mobbs, I know a little of what you are going through. My partner has IC, has had it for several years. Her family has a history of auto-immune disease, and we think that this is how it has manifested itself with her (but as you know, no-one knows). For her, the biggest trigger was food and drink, so through trial and error we have worked out what to avoid that gives her a fighting chance.

We recently had a little girl, and you can imagine that (1) not being able to take any meds, incl some standard pain meds during the term and (2) having a little growing bouncy "leon bakerette" in their jumping and rolling around on your bladder does to your quality of life.

Having also experienced what I think is the worst medical system in the world - overpriced and over-resourced (why does a doctor need several "au pair" types to check in patients, take your money, take your blood...and my favourite, the one that knocks on the consulting room door and says "your doctor will be in soon" at 10:45am, 45mins after you appointment time), before you get your 5-8 mins, I can relate to your experience with the "best the world".

In spite of the nightmares that I still get courtesy of Mickey Conlan running in at 45 degrees about 40m out on that wet boggy day back in '86, just Paypal'd (E-Check) you 4 bills, Obama currency...should arrive in 3-5 days

Stay positive, if you find a specialist in Houston that might be able to help, drop me a line
