What you do, is this:

Take your tape (I cant believe they're still around somewhere! :D ) and throw it in the bin!

Go on your computer, go to audiogalaxy or imesh or something and download the songs you want in mp3 format.
Convert them to WAV file for most burners.

Burn them to CD. - Wooshka! your audio tape is now on CD with great quality!

otherwise, you could get a stereo mini plug to mini plug cable (about $7 from tandy), plug one end into your walkman/stereo, and the other end into the sound 'IN' jack on your soundcard in pc.

install a sound recording program, (Cooledit), and play the tape while recording the sound. Sound quality could vary, cos you are recording from tape, and using an analog cable, you may get some interference depending on the quality of your soundcard.

Record this sample as a *.wav file, burn to cd.
