I dont understand. as good. If it is as good why not say that your 100% sure that Toshiba is as good as HP.

I bought a toshiba lap-top 2yrs ago and it is very very slow. Even just running word and eXcel.
Apparently lappys dont have enough memory to run vista or something....I have been told. But then again that was 2years ago and things may of changed

I have worked for a few different companies working with various brands. Have found Dell to be the best value and most reliable, even with Vista.
Requirements:
RAM - ddr2 4GB ( don't buy 2gb, you will regret it ).
Hard Drive - at least 250GB.
Screen - at least 15.4"
CPU - Core 2 duo 2.40
Video Card - 256MB Nvidia Ge force 8600
Warranty - if you can extend to 3yr, definately go with 3 years.
DVD Burner.
