Help choosing an EPL Team

I like the spanish league, Serie A is a retirement league full of corruption.

On another note

I'll never understand people like you who live in Austalia yet act like they are not Australian or disrespect the country that has given them and their family a place to live.

Corruption in every league, even Aussie sports (shock, horror).
Why should i respect it, when you lot turn on us at the drop of a hat.
never support our teams, its always English, English and more English.
Heritage first.

If it makes you feel any better I like pizza and monica bellucci.

Honestly, just go with Spurs. They're fashionable.

New stadium coming up, large supporter base, fans that sing, established rivalries, won't go broke anytime soon, decent squad thats getting better, tax fraud Redknapp, London based club, decent kits usually etc.

Plus, they haven't won too much, and cant be accused of trying to buy the title. It's a sure bet. And plus, they have the opportunity to become much more successful than they've been in recent decades.

Man City feels too forced, something about Villa thats not quite right. Everton will always be a shadow, no matter how you look at it.

You could always place a bet on Nottingham Forest becoming a Prem regular in the future. That could be very fashionable for new Premier League fans.

As some others said, it'll just happen. My favourite band is Oasis, Man City quickly became my team and haven't thought twice about it at all. Once it happens it'll feel right.

I'd been blue since I was a kid, but falling in love with oasis' music in 94 kind of helped me re-fall in love with my team as well!

If anyone started following us today, it'd be hard to tell if it were for the right reasons... That said, with or without extra fans, most city fans would agree with me that we're ecstatic about even having a chance of winning something this year, let alone winning anything!!

It isnt slow, Its not hoof and boof, and time on the ball equals technical skill. Also has a higher goal ratio than the epl
But you could say the same about spain too.

Ill never get the blind devotion you Aussies have to the epl, its like a bogan right of passage.

Im going to go out on a limb here and make the following generalisation about the 'frankster'. Your first name is Frank. Your a Carlton supporter and in addition to your reference to Australians as 'you aussies' your probably of italian heritage. Your surname is probably 'Vanzella' or something along those lines. And you probably hang out at Lygon St with your Inter/AC/Juve top on and still think Serie A is still the best league in the world.

I watch the Serie A regularly when it is on either ESPN or ONE and you can't tell me that the EPL or La Liga for that matter, are easier on the eye? There's a reson for that too- there is a growing trend for all the best players in the world to be playing in either the EPL or La Liga.

Back to the topic at hand, wtaching Bergkamp in the late 90's did it for me closely followed by a young French winger we picked up from Juve :D. And the attractive brand of football Arsenal have been playing ever since Wegner became manager.

Sensible post.

Also - Spurs players don't dive or bully the refs (unlike the 'Big 4'). We don't play shit, boring, negative football (every other team in the league).

Get on the Bolton bandwagon, theres plenty of room

I was facing this decision a few months ago...

This was my thinking..Completely illogical

Didn't like the following:

Man united: Most supporters I know are impossible to discuss soccer with, completely arogant..Much like west coast supporters ;)

Arsenal: Mate supports them, his constant chanting caused me to hate them

Chelsea: Don't like the way they bought success

Everton: Don't like Cahill

At the end of the day I narrowed it down to Spurs and Liverpool...So I watched a few games...Spurs imediately appealed to me

Having a Croatian background and watching the silky skills of Modric and Kranjcar sealed the deal.

Spur it is and I haven't looked back since.

No Dinamo Zagreb or Hajduk split?

Arent tottenham the Jewish team?

I'm sure we can hold on!

2 weeks to Jimmy Bullard ;)

So basically he'll be back AFTER Chelski and United. :p

Ah well, games against Wolves, Blackburn and West Ham I think are our games after those two, so with Bullard back that should hopefully be 9 points.

No point wasting him on those games!

Like you say back for the crucial matches and hopefully 9 points.

dood: I bloody well hope not. I think he's logged 5 matches since the transfer from Fulham. Hate to see more time between 6 and 7.
