Hi all.

I run my own bathroom product retail business. As well as my showroom I sell a lot of products on ebay (vanity units, ceramic basins, shaving cabinets, toilets etc).

For my ebay products I offer postage Australia wide. For a couple of years I have been using a certain courier company who I was very happy with but just the other day they changed their rules and only deliver to business addresses, completely stuffing me up as most people on ebay require residential delivery. So if there's anyone out there who knows a courier company that:

1) Handles fragile goods (ceramic, glass)
2) Offers insurance
3) Delivers to both business and residential addresses
4) Doesnt require you to have a huge montly turnover (some of the bigger mobs require at least $2k of business a month )

I would greatly appreciate if you could pass on the details!

I was a courier for 20 or so years, there are courier services and then there are parcel services.

You sound like you need a Parcel service as you don't want to pay the hefty fee to get something from a to b in a few hours as most "courier services" are set up to do.

Most larger "courier" Companies have a parcel set up but it's not specialised like the real parcel mobs.

Couriers Please
Fastway
Parcel Post
Fast Track
are just a few of the Pardel experts I can think of from the top of my head.
