also what do they do with the dogs when when get older?

I imagine it's like all therapy dogs, they have their own homes & their owners take them to the institutions for however long they are needed & then take them back home after. So when the dog gets older, someone else will use their pup to take it's place.

It's also very good for the pups, gives them great training in socialisation, so it's a win win for both dogs & humans. :thumbsu:

Everyone is different and there is no optimal way of studying for everyone. Some people will get better results staying up all night before their exam cramming and others will perform better after a solid 8 hr sleep having unwound for half an hour before getting into bed.

The best thing to do is to find out what works for you as early as you can and stick to it.

Yes, however resting your brain just before sleep helps for many people- it can decrease stress and improve your concentration/cognitive functioning. I know it worked for me and many others when I attended uni.

Lost count of how many times I used to hear the "tired, didn't sleep well" excuse for performing poorly on exams when teaching year 9/10s. Would then ask them what they did before bed, and most would claim to have watched TV or have done something that kept their brains overly active.

Yeah those International students who shell out ridiculous amounts of money for their degree permanent residency should just chill the **** out, who cares about failing subjects when you can just do another Semester and send yourself broke.

FYP.

exactly who cares? if they fail then that's bad luck, just like it is for everyone else.

Mantis can adopt them.

HA HA, I just adopted a beautiful 7 year old Staffy 2 months ago, she is a sweetheart. :D

Unfortunately, not many people rescue older dogs, which is a shame, because they are fantastic pets, you don't have to go through the puppy & teenage stages, which are a pain.

What's the deal with this?

I dropped out of year 10, started uni one year later and had HECS throughout my course.

A former classmate of mine wanted to do a engineering degree at Curtin University. The minimum cutuff was about a TER of 80 (so top 20% in the state). He got 65.

So he wasn't eligible the position until he entered as a full fees paying overseas student.

Oh ok. I did a Foundation Studies course at the uni and that got me in as a normal resident student.

They should have a crocodile room for uni students, they would be too stressed out about being eaten by crocodiles to be stressed out about exams.
How about a room with just the three most recent umpires of a St Kilda game?
