We are all entitiled to our opinion on here, even if you don't share it. So do your job and moderate. We went to the same school they didnt teach us maners like that. Play the ball not the man. At least the mods on the other clubs let you have your say. I have better things to do than talk to you during the off season. Just remember I pay my membership and can come on when I feel like it not when you want me to.

You should be "locked out" for your petty point scoring. Aphro is spot on - 'supporters' like you who only show up after a loss to dig the boots in are a cancer to this board.

I wasn't 1 of those supporters that cheered when he came off.

Reason being, I knew that both Henderson and Hampson would cost us the game, and that is exactly what happened.

OOP'S I FORGOT I WAS CHEERING AT HOME.

I'm really hoping that's a tongue in cheek comment blue_chick.
In over 120 minutes of football, I could peel off a number of incidents that could have potentially won us the game.

Getting back onto Lachie, yes he did have a bad game yesterday, but seriously people, he had a major operation just before Christmas, and did any type of running until around Australia Day. He'll be a good player for us.

And to those supporters who jeered him when he was subbed off, you should be bloody ashamed and embarrassed of yourselves. In fact, why don't you hand your bloody memberhsips back, We don't want you at our club!

I have to agree with you here Aph' these are the same hypocrites that bagged Yarran, and now look he;s been fabulous so where are they now, fair weather supporters.

What I do off season is no concern to you or anybody else. Stick to the thread and do your job properly.

The more I read of this thread, the dumber it gets. People here aren't even arguing the same point half the time. Some people are arguing that he played a shocker, while others are arguing that he needs time to get back into form. Which side is right? BOTH OF THEM! They are not mutually exclusive.

Look at the game in isolation and judge Henderson on his performance. He had a shocker, and I don't think anyone can seriously claim that he didn't. However, those who say that he needs the time to get back into form are also correct. A big guy at 20 years old coming back from surgery in his second full season is not going to fire on all cylinders straight away.

I think if you really got down to it, most people here agree with BOTH SIDES. Most people here seem to agree that he had a shocker and that he ALSO needed the run to get back into form. It seems to be only the odd few who are arguing anything other than that, such as the idea that Henderson played well or that he will continue to suck regardless of how much game time he plays.

As for those who should "take a good hard look at themselves" for booing our own player and wishing harm on him, and those who are so blind that they think no Carlton player can ever put a foot wrong, I ask that you please try to move a bit from your hardcore, polar-opposite viewpoints and find some middle ground. It IS actually possible to be frustrated and feel a player had a shocker WITHOUT booing and hating them. Most of us here are in that middle ground, and it would be nice to see a few others around here join us.

Show me the thread where I bagged Yarran. Stop saying untruths, I have never bagged Chrissy. So have your facts before you coment.

Not trying to take sides, because personally I think BOTH the "Hendo will always suck and we should drop him forever" and the "Hendo played fantastic. You must never say anything other than to kiss the ass of our players" camps are too extreme and BOTH need to get real.

As for your question though, I'm not mod so I can't say for sure, but I would guess that it was locked because it was pointless, contributed nothing, did nothing other than try to stir up tension on the board and cause fights, and basically added up to as close as you can get to trolling on your own team's board.

Can I point out that the OP was about Henderson, and has now taken a direction that it cannot recover. We do encourage robust debate, but this is just too much. I've got better things to do on a Sunday afternoon than ready through every post and decide if it needs to be deleted.
