Lucy might turn out to be rubbish but Bolton has already graduated with honours in that area.

Lucy was struck down with injury most of last year. Was recruited as a Full Back to fill the void when Fletcher retires. Was named in the U18 All star side at full back (only player from queensland to make the side i think). Worth seeing what he has got, hopefully wont get injuries so we can all see if he can take the next step

I doubt he was ever recruited to play FB.
I think he was seen as developing into more of an Andrew Embley type at AFL level. His use at Bendigo most definately didn't point to Lucy being used as a key defender in the future.

Wade Mills from Queensland also made AA and what injuries did he have?

I am bucking the general theme of the thread here as I think the guy deserves a few words of appreciation.

Thankyou Aaron for the all of the effort you have put in for the last eight years. Your football career may not have reached great heights, but you managed to spend eight years at the Essendon Football Club. I know in those eight years you worked and trained hard and did your best to play football. Not everyone is naturally gifted to play football and many fall by the wayside. Only 1062 odd players have represented this proud club and i am sure it is an honour and a privledge to have represented the club and I am sure you have appreciated it.

I personally have only met you once, during the middle of this last season. I am sure you wouldn't remember the conversation as you must speak to thousands of supporters. I found you to be a very humble, gracious and open person. Thankyou for taking the time to talk to yet another Bomber supporter.

Good luck with your new career as a Policeman. The one thing I am sure you will handle with aplomb is the ridicule and dislike that a portion of society have towards the cops, as surely you have handled a lot of criticism well in your life already.

I'm happy that the club are starting to make some tough decisions. Hopefully we continue to do this in the future, some further tough calls to be made in 12 months time. As I keep saying, it will take a couple years to clean up the list, and with any luck, hopefully we play finals in 2009.

hennamen was surely not a tough decision.
i've been wanting thisbloke to go for the last 3 years, he's a massive dudd and has waisted an oppurtunity for a kid to develope. bolton must go i think
