Hentschel & Bock

As much as I am concerned over Hentschel's injury, I'm excited about 2007 for one reason: Nathan Bock. Bock is a better player, statistically and in real terms IMO. My only concern over Bock is the number of times he gets himself in front of goal to have a shot, but he is also excellent at delivering the ball to his team mates inside 50. This debate continues to bob up on this board, I think Bock will be far more effective this year as a forward.

So, is everyone else on the Bockwagon yet? I know its only Round 2...

Hes up there as the best CHF this year so far. Pavs got his measure only just and hes beating both Brown and Lloyd so far.

So far Hentschel has recovered just as the doctors hoped, so as of right now there's no reason to suggest that at his age he won't be able to get back to what he was. Imagine next year, if Tippett and Sellar have played a couple of games, Bock has established himself as a capable forward and solid defender, you bring Hentschel back and still have Kenny lurking, I like the flexibility there.

Hentschel has got that freak ability but Bock has proven himself to be able to hold the spot down very well and take good contested marks. I can't decide between them but I adore them both and hope that Trent gets back to full fitness next year.

Its like asking a Crow board whos a better team Adelaide or Port Power.

Im really surprised Bock has got as many votes as he has.

IMHO Hentshel can do the special things that put him in a league of his own from Bock ( and thats including Bocks special goal from the flank in last years prelim).

You forgot to compare him to a VERY VERY good player who doesn't get the recognition that he deserves.

Yeah i was gonna compare him but he seems to be playing full forward this year with Lloyd being the CHF. I don't underrate Lucus at all....hes a gun
