lol. well i didn't receive it.

its gold though.

made my decision on embley a little easier.

also if you don't get cox you're a knob. you can quote me on that one.
Hamish and Gilmore did alright as well... tracking to go up way more than Simmonds/wood/luenburger... I think I would have prefered that information *not* to get out there... :p

Johnno's average is worrying while Aker has me interested. Aker burnt me last year though so I'm not too sure.

Damn i wish i had this a few days ago, looks like i'll be getting no work done for the rest of the day.

i jst downgraded J. Brown to get Burton ( due 2 both thier pre-season forms) and then i upgraded hanson to mattner.

should i stick with brown/hanson or go with Burton/mattner?

i also traded fev for hall...any opinions?

im weary of my forward line, i feel its to weak now tht brown is out....B johnson, S Johnson, C jones(kangas), Hall, Porplyzia, Burton and gamble

although, does my backline cover for tht.....Shaw, milburn, cornes, mattner, symes, waters, S.D.Thomspson

i am going 2 the carlton game 2morow so i wont b home at 5 wen the teams get named, do u think the footy show wll show a very close idea of wat the teams will be? and wen the teams do cum out each week wat website do u look at?

Any thoughts Walesy?

Also Johnstone's efficiency is very low.
Yeah, that efficiency is fairly worrying... I dunno though, is it uncommon for him to go wayward like that?

As for other options, the only mid-range mid I've got is stevens. ;) (Cause of that back-line problem of mine. :p)

I guess the obvious choices are Griffen (if you don't mind going cheaper), and as you said, Jones, Pearce, Kane Johnson and Embley at a stretch.

But yeah, as I said... I don't have any of them. :p

not bad, bit risky starting embley. wood is alright as the #2 ruck, but i would downgrade him or leunberger to meesen and upgrade the other to simmonds. that way u have 2 #1 rucks. dont quite rate pendelbury (not a gun, better value at that price). also imo 1 gun short in def. would look at squeezing in gilbee/shaw). also i would go deledio over n brown in the fwds. other than that its not too bad

Alot of people have commented that Johnstone has great efficiency.

However one of the arguements put forward by the Blues fans with respect to their tanking in 2007 and not picking up Johnstone was at he had 40+ possessions but like 13 clangers.

I don't follow him closely to know enough, but yeah thought i'd throw that out there.

Milkman_joe,

out of those three i have N. Jones myself, i think he will be a great investment this season with johnstone elsewhere

the previous few days the talk has been about embly and johnstone, so read up on those 2, i wuld probably go with neither, mayb get a little more money into ur bank and get a 500+ mid if u can

so i wuld go jones and a 500+ mid(cross, hodge, hayes, judd, if u dont hav at least 2 500+ mids)

Well after weeks of stuffing around with my side I have finally settled on a line up and can't be bothered changing it any further, frankly if it's not right now it never will be, so there will be no more giving myself a headache trying to decide between player A who averaged 95 points last year and player B who averaged 95 points in the preseason and wondering which one will do it again this year after all is it really worth the hassle. ;)

If you had to pick TWO players from this list who would you select:

Nathan Jones, Travis Johnstone, Andrew Embley, Brent Reilly
In my side I went with Jones and Embley. Maybe seen as risky but Embley is a proven 100 point scorer and Jones looks set to be a star. Just my opinion take it for what its worth. (Which ain't much:))

Ok guys Coughlan is out and i need help.

My current midfield is : Dal Santo,Gablett, Griffen, Nick Stevens, Coughlan and Houli.

Should i swap Coughlan for Dyson?
Should I bring Nicoski into the midfield and Bradshaw/Barlow/Ellis replace him?

Advice and other suggestions would be very helpful.

I was happy with my team but now I have a few questions!

Gilbee worth $570,000? Or Should I downgrade to Newman so I can upgrade Nicoski to Mattner?

Wood or Simmonds?

Ahhhhhhhhh.
Keep gilbee, nickoski will b alright if he can get his body into shape
imo simmonds just over wood, simmonds is a #1 ruckman and proven high performer

If ur talking about putting deledio in the mids, think again. he will play primarily as a forward like N Brown. Priddis should do better
Cheers yeah i just noticed i had enough money to afford to upgrade Priddis to deledio, and with all the talk around him i was considering it. I like Priddis and think i'll stick with him.
As for the forward line i went with N.Brown over delidio, just think if he can get back near to his best he will be better than delidio.
