Expert!!SYDNEY_EAGLE said:I'm shocked by the lack of support for Hewitt.
Roddick is completely one-dimensional and has been flattered by the draw this year. Who has he beaten? No-one.
Hewitt is battle-hardened and won't give Roddick an inch.
Get behind Rusty, because he's got a date with the Big Russian on Sunday.
It was just a prediction.. take a chill pill and ease up.SYDNEY_EAGLE said:Here's another one.

The final is on Safin's racquet. His best tennis will be too much for Hewitt, but if he has a typical meltdown then Hewitt will be all over him.AirportWest #17 said:I'm gonna listen to u from now on.....what do u think about the final?
Funkalicous said:just have a look at Hewitt's hunger. He's been on a emotional rollercoaster from day 1 in this tournament. He won't back off now.
Nothing personal. Although I believe you've given me plenty of attitude in the past.Thats Power said:It was just a prediction.. take a chill pill and ease up.![]()

I tipped Safin to win.roostersgal4eva said:sydney, if marat has meltdowns he would of done it by now

true but he could of given up after 6 match points saved, the old marat would ofSYDNEY_EAGLE said:I tipped Safin to win.
Maybe not meltdowns, but at least lapses at crucial points.
Look at the sets he dropped against Federer. He got broken serving at 5-6 twice.
That is a f*cking costly lapse, and that's the sh*t that Safin is still prone to doing.
That said, I think Safin will win in 5 classic sets.
SYDNEY_EAGLE said:The tennis he played against Federer would have crushed anyone else in the world.
I reckon it's almost too close to call. But by rolling Federer in 5 sets, Safin deserves to start favourite.AirportWest #17 said:Got it in one Safin showed last night that his best is better than anyone's but the way Lleyton fights I just dont know?
Fine. I agree.roostersgal4eva said:true but he could of given up after 6 match points saved, the old marat would of
also agree, but he is getting better and better at itSYDNEY_EAGLE said:Fine. I agree.
I'm just saying that even amongst Safin's new and improved focus, there are still points where he drops his bundle.
Only once i have replied back to your post (before this thread)..which was in the safin support thread.Figure it out yourselfSYDNEY_EAGLE said:Nothing personal. Although I believe you've given me plenty of attitude in the past.
Quality name players? Like who?Funkalicous said:To be honest, I think both deserve to win. Hewitt has played quality name players throughout the entire tournament and has battled an injury. IMO he's made this final on heart. Whereas with Safin, the way I feel, if you beat Federer in a major you deserve the trophie. Go for it champs!!
You lost all your crediblity there.Nadal is a very dangerous player who is breaking through now with a huge forehand. He destroyed federer last year on hardcourts with that weapon. You are looking at statistics too much.SYDNEY_EAGLE said:Quality name players? Like who?
An 18 year-old ranked outside the top 50 and two baseliner Argentinians with no weapons.
Safin beat Federer. He deserves to win.
