Anyone remember this show starring Jimmy Stynes. I think it only went for a few episodes but would love to see some footage!

Hey, yeah I remember this. Must have aired around 15 years ago. It was either on the ABC or SBS and was effectively a vehicle for young Aussie comedy duo Ant & Chris (think Hamish & Andy, but nowhere near as funny).

Those two guys had previously starred in their own sitcom, which I think was called Jimmy, or Hi Jimmy, or something of the sort. There were a few good jokes, but the low budget and unnecessary laugh track killed it for me.

From what I remember their spin-off AFL show only lasted a handful of episodes, but I did manage to record a couple of episodes on VHS at the time they aired. I think the idea to feature Jim Stynes and the Krakour brothers on the panel was based on the fact their names were both Jimmy, but neither added too many laughs or insights.

Some of the sketches were pretty funny, especially the ones featuring Warrick Capper and Mark 'Jacko' Jackson. In one sketch Ant & Chris even went undercover as audience members on The Footy Show, but were kicked out by the warm-up guy for attempting to film with a camera. I think that featured on the final episode. Some of the cast from Fat Pizza also appeared as guests too from what I recall.

Sorry I can't add much more information, but there should be a wikipedia page on it.
