Of those 7, I'd guess that 4/5 at least were made by g4e, including the PTP one which is my tag - I certainly did not post it as my IP will testify.

If it was g4e, could you please let me know as I have been defamed by him in other forums, as have many other people and a number of us are considering legal action against him.

You're kidding, right? Try posting half of the stuff on this board at one of the official web sites or, even worse, the Fairfax football site.

Only when complaints are made do I investigate stepping in and cautioning people posting on the site. Stop being narky that you misunderstood my post about the likelihood of someone else using several screen names, including yours.

Anyone who wants to post libel and slander is welcome to go to other boards. I and the great majority of users will be happy to see the back of them so we can get on with reasoned discussion.

magpie greg none of your posts have ever been censored. I have censored a total of THREE posts on this board since it was launched in December - and in two of those cases the people in question have e-mailed me privately to apologise.

Closing dead-end and abusive threads is another matter. It needs to happen every now and again. The original posts are still there for anyone to read, but the forums section has less clutter.

Anyone is welcome to e-mail me at bluey at bigfooty dot com if they are offended by a particular message. Whether I simply request that the person posting the remark tone things down, close the thread or delete the post is looked at on a case by case basis.

Fact is, no one (Power fans or otherwise) has reported to me that they want it closed. Until now.

I'll have a look through it tonight. If it looks like it has reached its use-by date I'll post a warning for everyone to get their last posts in and close it down within a day or two.

Also- to pie man- or whoever was considering legal action for slander. Good luck on that one- I think you'll need it. Not that the reasoning is bad- but suing individuals for internet propaganda ?????

PTP, When Bluey (the administrator) checks the IP on the posts, you will find that i have been posting only under the name of Geelong4eva here You can't go around making accusations without some sort of evidence as backup for your argument. On that basis i have a legitmate case to go and take you to court PTP, but i won't as i know what a sad individual that you are.

Anyone wanting to persue legal action for slander or defamation should approach the US courts, not Australian.
