I still think he misses a couple of weeks, but lets hope he gets up.
Copped the full brunt of Silvagni’s knee so you’d think he’d miss at least 1 game minimum. When you cop a huge knock like that a lot of the time you get a bit of bleeding / bruising that can flow into areas around where you got hit so he’ll be sore for a while yet.

It really is an awesome outcome with it not being a broken clavicle. That would’ve been an 8-12 week injury.

Bloody awesome news on Scrimmers, this kid is a gun and we cant afford to have him not on the field.

Maybe give him a week or two just to be extra careful? I am sure the club wont be taking any risks with a blue chip player like him either way.

The AFL is pretty committed to the medical sub not being abused. Nothing wrong with a legit injury concern coming off and minimising risk like wingard. But if you see McEvoy come off halfway through the 3rd quarter for a mid and play the next week eyebrows will be raised.

Good to have a healthy list with bramble and impy close to being available and Lynch likely too.

But the following aren't reported injured but not playing. Shiels, brockman, butler, o'hara

Why?
Well, Butler played last weekend for Box Hill.

Injury list

Jack Scrimshaw – test

Lachlan Bramble – 2 weeks

Chad Wingard – TBC - will miss

Ben McEvoy – TBC
