hi guys a question

You mean to say you don't believe any of today's players can be revved up with some old fashioned RAH RAH?

Picture this - Richmond are in the race waiting to come out - they see or are told about the 'yellow and bleak crack' - the Captn says to the team "Do your see the sh1t this arrogant mob say about us" - they all yell "Let's cream these pr1cs" but it really only incenses 2 tigers - as Stevo starts to stream away with the first clearance one of these 2 lays a flying tackle that inspires the rest of them and sets their tone for the day

There ends the fairytale but it can happen

Jesus, Fiveman. Did we end up getting the points? Heavy realism.

Vivid wasn't it (seems like it was only yesterday that I was looking for angles like that) - I am going to check the tape :)

You make a good point Five, but I think that sort of motivation only really lasts for a short time. Before long teams switch into what they do naturally.........sadly for the Tigers this meant fumbling the ball and chipping sideways..........but I do get your point about not giving ammunition..........that was the point wasn't it?

I'm going to bed.

2 of my daughters are in the Carlton Cheer Squad & what they leader of the cheersquad stated in that article is correct.....

they are advised by an official at the club what to put on their banner, the cheersquad have no say over it.

That is why at the Port Adelaide game in Adelaide a few weeks ago now, it read for about the 3rd time "teal..... isn't that a duck?"

I htink we have just found The General's profession:

"Yellow and Bleak", "Teal...Isn't that a duck?" :o :)

Normally, I could give a shite about what banners say. They should be combative, thats the point, otherwise you might as well just erect some more advertising hoarding.

But given the occasion v Richmond, our banner was ordinary. There are always exceptions to the rule, and that was a chance to be reasonably classy.

I loved the Bitchmond banner. They have been carrying on for months now and we finally nailed them well and truly. I loved it. It shows we are finally standing up again.

you can do funny dittis but i can see her point to but it is sad that say you guys or cs members can not even put in a choice of what might go on the banners

the richmond cs don't put anything with the opps name on it as one member of their cs said on sen it is a was of space , we have and at times when we do we lose eg roo game this year as a good example that may be just a coincidence or what i don't know but but seems to happen sometimes .

one of my idea's will be on a hawk banner in the finals i can't wait to see it up there , i feel sorry for the blue members who don't get that chance to
cause club officials always say what goes on it :(

I hope the club fixes up your spelling and grammar first :p
