After moving from melbourne at the start of 2001 i have been watching a bit of under age football in sydney, and also following the progress of the NSW/ACT rams.

That year i noticed a young player by the name of Marc Lord dominating on the back flank for the rams, whilst getting in the bests for swans reserves and also for North Shore in first grade.

This kid looks to be about 183-186cm and weigh about 83kg. Has good speed, an exceptionally strong overhead mark, and silky skills.

Does anyone have anymore information on this kid? As i have heard he has had phonecalls from many different clubs concering this years draft

Marc is unheard of in victorian circles, hence missing out on 'top 100 draftees' which i think should be taken little notice of...its just the thoughts of a punter like you or me.

AFL clubs would be alot more aware, i rate him as better than a Jesse D Smith.

I think this kid has a long way to go...if he wants to get anywhere with his footy he should move interstate. The ACT league is a good place to start making a name for himself.

If he is getting a game with the Swannie reserves, he is already playing in the ACT league, numbnuts.

Yes i know they are in the ACT league but its harder to make a name for yourself when playing along the side of swans listed players.S till if he is gonna go anywhere he should still be able to make a name for himself while playing with listed players. Maybe spanning into another club in the act league was what i meant.
