Just browsing and came across this thread.

I played in this game unfortunately I was the ruckman in the Northern Eagles team that day - can't believe someone brought it up. Hey we did only have 12 players that day. It wasn't long before the Northern Eagles (formerly St.Ives) folded - one can see why.

Played in the game between these two (Rd15 i guess) and our full forward kicked 26. From memory i think their FB had 77 goals kicked on him in 3 weeks, with the leauge record being broken each time.. Not sure what our total score was, someone may be able to find out??

I always hate to see teams get belted like this, but those 'players' that walked off are ********s and deserve to be bent over in front of the Pink Magpies.
