Another biggie this arvo in the SFL Regional League in Southern Tasmania.

Huonville Lions 47.29 (311) - Triabunna 4.4 (28) down at Huonville Recreation Ground.

This is the highest score posted in STFL/SFL history in either the Premier or Regional divisions.
Was also Huonville Lions record score, was also bigger than any score posted by the two clubs (Huonville & Franklin) that merged to create the Lions.
Ok, I'm only partially correct on that post.
The SFL record score was Channel 60.36 (396) against Lachlan (who's final score I'm yet to find out) which was set in the STFL (now called the SFL) in 1996.
It is, however, the highest score in the SFL Regional League since the Premier/Regional split at the end of 2001.

Notes for your records:
● Bolded the Scottsdale Crows (302 - 6) & (304 - 0) scores:
There are two Scottsdale's (Magpies and Crows) in the same town, but in different competitions.
One is known as Scottsdale (in the NTFA Division One), the other is mostly just called Crows (North East FU).

● Railway Football Club was spelt as Railways in the records list.

● There was a reference to a 'Ravenshall' (324 - 67) but that was Ravenswood Football Club.
● Southern Amatuer Football League was known as the TAFL Southern Division same as the Northern comp was known as the TAFL Northern Division.

Hope that helps :)

Thanks Kingpin
No worries Todman. Doing a great job :thumbsu:

two corrections

323 - Cuprona 50.23.323 (v Sprent 4.3.27) – Darwin FA - 1981.

This happen in 1986 , Terry French kicked 20 goals.

320 - Lachlan 49.26.320 (v Cambridge 3.3.21) - TAFL (Southern Div) - 1979

Lachlan joined the Amateurs in 1987 after the STFA ceased.

The Southern Tasmania FA went from 1976 to 1986. Probably a renaming of the Associated Youth Clubs comp (1948-1975).

another big one in the Southern Football League (South Australia) yesterday:

Brighton 62.21 (393)

defeated

Hackham 1.2 (8)

highest goal kicker was "only" 11 goals

Hackham is the same team that was counted many times last season as "Southern Hawks", just a name change.

The Hackham Under 18's forfeited against Brighton Under 18's too.

Round 4 - May 2, 2009
Kersbrook
18.6 39.11 57.19 80.22 (502)

Callington 0.0 0.0 1.1 1.1 (7)

ROGER James' best haul in 147 games for Port Adelaide was three goals in a game, and 19 in a season, which puts some context to his performance for Kersbrook in the Hills Football League on Saturday. "I think the whole club had a day out," James said yesterday, putting more emphasis on Kersbrook kicking 80.22 (502) against hapless Callington, than his personal tally of 23 goals. James said each quarter was lasting close to 40 minutes, but as it was played at Callington, which is struggling to field a team, there wasn't much of a crowd on hand to witness it. "They're having a pretty rough time, really struggling and not getting much support. I honestly don't know whether they'll get through the year." At 177 centimetres, James admits he's "probably the smallest full-forward going around", but benefited from some fairly loose checking. "I really don't know if you'd class them as opponents because they were nowhere near me, but I probably had four or five during the day. They didn't really bother about flooding the defence, they just let us go about playing our style of footy." Since retiring from Port in 2005, James has had two seasons as a SANFL assistant coach (with Norwood and North Adelaide), and played all of 2007 in the goal square at Kersbrook, his home club, twice bagging 16 goals and finishing on 98 for the year. Hauls of five, zero and 23 have him well placed this year, but he's not getting carried away. "My knees are buggered, which is why I'm playing full-forward — I can't really run too well. My fitness ain't quite the same." Working on the family pear and apple orchard, along with doing some fencing work with little brother Paul, he's feeling every one of his 33 years. So much so that he "celebrated" Saturday's feat at home with his wife and daughters watching a movie.
